I am actually in the process of doing this same process as my very first real boot project with the tools and materials I've been accumulating for several months. It's good to know someone else has done it, and what they'll look like. Resolable thereafter too!
I watched the entire video amazed and taken by the amount of detail, skill and time he put into fixing those boots, hell those boots look even better then when they rolled off the production line. Amazing stuff I just fixed my own boots in my country and the guy I went to messed it up, the boots where comfortable before I took them to him but my socks got wet on rainy days and when the boots came back the leaking stopped but comfort got sacrificed and I prefer comfortability over leaking bcos it does not rain daily.
That's a lovely job you've done on those. Thanks for posting this - I find it quite inspiring. Inspiring enough that I might just try it myself on a pair of Blundstones that are pretty much dead but which I am too attached to for me to simply get rid of. Canadian too and an OLFA user as well, eh ? Fantastique et superbe. Merci.
This is excellent workmanship. Please refer to the comment I made in the video entitled," Bespoke boot making at Atelier Buck" Congratulations once again, for such dedication, perseverance, and excellent workmanship, where no corners are cut to hurry the process, nor using inferior materials in making or restoring a good pair of boots.
I loved watching you bring life back to this pair of old trusty boots. The nails you hammer in either side of the Vibram logo, do you have to snip them off inside the boot? I have always enjoyed looking after my boots and shoes, being a highly skilled cobbler would be a lovely job to have. What cream did you appply to the boots at the end?
awesome!!!! great video, i love the way you work man! i just have a question for you, just buy my first blunnies and i think i need to gain 2 or 3 millimeters long to be really comfortable, as a shoemacker can you tell me if it's possible or...shoudl i buy a new pair? thank's
Hi Robert. Thanks for cheering my work on my girlfriend’s blunnies, but this is a work of so many hours that I don’t think worth the price I ll charge you for re soling yours... why don’t you get a brand new pair of bespoke Buck boots?! Cheers ! instagram.com/atelierbuck/?hl=en
Incredible job, but wondering would it be cheaper to just buy a new pair? Can only imagine how much the restoration cost.... but amazing never the less 😃
Take the time to watch my friend every step is worth it. I believe everything in life is so fast forward and quick and instant now a days that we have to slow down, especially for artistic work and already putting my work that takes several hours in to 15 minutes is actually fast forward. Have a good day and try some slowliving in stead of speeding up ;)
@@Sobreiroboots I appreciate your work and definitely your reply however I wish everyone in the world had that kind of time in life. Some of us are a bit too occupied. I really hope u will consider those busy people in future, if you cannot even then it's cool. My best wishes are always with hard work people 👍
Blundstone quality has diminished since turn of the century - my first pair from 1998 lasted 5 years worn everyday in four season weather. my Chukka Work boots from 2007 soles were garbage the heels were a shell not solid rubber
The music makes me feel like I should be solving a crime in 1942
There's nothing in 1942 in my country
Lol cracked me up freddie
I have never seen somebody do the entire rebuild by hand !!! Amazing 😎
Superb restoration! That's one less pair of boots on the rubbish heap. Great environmental outcome too!
They are even better than original new ones from Blundstone! I wish I did not throw away my old pair of blundnies and get fixed like these!
Not a machine in sight. Everything was hand crafted. Excellent restoration.

Wow, better than new. I really think you improved on the original boot. The owner of the boots must have been so happy! Subbed.
That was hypnotic. grate choice of music.
Just browsing and came across this video, fascinating true artist in your own right.
Thanks I have been learning a lot from watching your videos, and I enjoy the way you put them together, and your outdoor set up...great...thanks.

A true artist. Thank you for posting.
Nicer than the originals. Great work! Thanks!

You sir, get a thumbs up and a subscribe. That's got to be the best work I've ever seen converting a boot into a Goodyear welt the PROPER way 👍

Thank you 🙏🏻
Holy fuck bud, you just earned a sub
👏👏👏
Great work! Any chance you have a shop we could ship some boots for resole ? Also do you work on Redback boots by any chance? Thanks.
nice
Amazing work! I'm guessing this was much more expensive than just buying a new pair though?
Pretty much handmade boots now. Impressive work. Vibram lug sole or mini lug?
Great workmanship!👍🏿 Can you repair my bluestone boots sole? I'm in UK. Thanks!
Where do you get your lasts?? I’m looking to start shoe making but have no idea where to obtain lasts.
How much ro resolve a pair of blunts ones to a comando sole?
WOW
👏👏👏👏
Thank you Mannu ☺️☺️☺️
Fantastic job and beautiful result. I have a pair of Blundstones that require their same TLC! How can I get them to you to have the same done?

For sure it will be cheaper to by a new pair. But if you think cheap, you will have cheap quality product.
Beautiful! What's the product that was brushed onto the boots at the end?
Crème universelle, Saphir.
Wow
How much did it cost the owner to put a welt on a cement construction shoe
360 welt stitched only for 270 degree? What the reason?
Hi, I have two pairs of Bally boots. Scarim-Navy, and Strauss-Aqua Teal. Can you make them 1-1/2 size smaller?
Клас👍
F**k! I love it!
Should have got the Red Backs instead... ;)
Wouldn't call it a restore - more of an upgrade! I love my Blundstones but the soles are the weakest part to longevity
Probably costs twice as much as the shoes tho
I'm guessing more.
Good job brother 👍 🇬🇹 have great day I need me boots 🥾👢🥾👢 I need inf
what's the title of the music?
Hlo sir I want to design leather shoes can you tell me can you help me
Great rebuild. Please chose different music 🎶 next time.
Are you accepting new orders for Blundstone Boot Restore?
No
It will be helpful if you can enable the option to increase the playback speed. Thanks

How much to do that on my blunnies?
Private work only, sorry mate.
🇪🇨👍🏻
Is A LOT of work
Мля а я столько сапог выкинул, о ужас а их можно было востановить
le ho avute a meta anni 80 non valgono assolutamente il prezzo che costano
Minis points for no cork lol

they looked better before imo
Too enormous amount of work to justify any repair.
Thanks Pavel ;) !!!
Justifies the pleasure to do it!
Blundstone should pay you for the redesign of their boot!!
