It's actually a really common way to dress as a bride in Greece. Orthodox church may be "conservative" and aunts might slut shame you if you wear "revealing" clothes, but it's not considered inappropriate to wear a strapless wedding dress. At least that's what I have noticed at the weddings I have attended so far.

I was told not to dress a “certain way” inside the Greek Orthodox Church...when I saw the member’s brides dresses, I dressed how I wanted.
