Tension Rising has always been one of my favourite pieces in Kingdom Hearts. I freaked out when I heard the versions of it that we got in KHIII! The KHIII versions of it are orders of magnitude better than the old version!
I know there's some additions to it here, like it adding something like drums, or bongoes and it also stretches out the song for longer than it usually is.
Oh my gosh I am in LOVE with these thumbnails for KH3, watching the KH3 playthrough on twitch was an absolute blast but I love coming over to the TH-cam channel, not only to rewatch the playthrough but also to check out the thumbnails for each new video! Looks like they spent the music budget on “Let it Go” and the instrumental for “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” Not even the Caribbean world has music from its franchise.

Dee, a huge tip for you, you can airstep (ShotLock + Square (on PS4) or ShotLock + X (on Xbox)) on enemies, so you can close your gap with them, you can do that on both shiny objects AND enemies
Rapunzel's "mother" didn't defeat the nobodies with a stick: it was part of Marluxia's plan to get Rapunzel back to her tower. He made the nobodies disappear to make sure Rapunzel would trust her "mother" again.
Glad somebody realizes this xD I don't think I've seen a KH3 Let's Play yet where the conclusion made wasn't "How did she beat them with a stick??" haha...

Yep. It’s technically after the events of the movie. KH3 had a lot of restrictions put on it by Disney bit Monstropolis is one that I believe was done a bit better.

My main problem with the game is whenever they’re recreating a movie they cut something out that would’ve been amazing. Kingdom of Corona? Sora gets knocked out and doesn’t help Flynn. Arendelle? It’s basically the same mountain and there were closed off parts that looked like you were originally allowed to explore, including the village of Arendelle itself. Port Royal? This one I love for the most part however they had to end the world right before they would’ve gone to Shipwreck Cove which would’ve been an amazing place for exploration and wall running. They were all fun don’t get me wrong, it’s just they seemed to be holding back a bit.

Yeah, Arendelle was incredibly frustrating, mainly because you just went up and down the same mountain repeatedly, only interacting with Elsa once in the entire thing and never getting her in the party despite her ice powers. Very disappointing and I definitely would've preferred if they just didn't include it and used something else, like Wreck-it-Ralph's world, or a Princess and the Frog world. The former especially would've made sense, given that Ralph is a summon in 3.
Actually, his keyblade is already in the game. And it disappointingly is one of the worse keyblades. I wonder if he is going to find it, as it is an optional keyblade.

But in this game I’d say it’s fucking BUSTED. all you have to do is just spam the attack button but NEVER do the combo finisher, instead is it’s unique air dodge. It’s not strong in terms of strength or magic but you do that and you tell me there’s a god.
Context about disney's tangled Mother gothel was using the sundrop flower to keep herself young (singing that song actives it), but when the queen fell ill, the kingdom used the flower to make a medicine. After rapunzel was born the flower's powers where carried to her hair. Gothel kidnapped rapunzel to get her renewible youth back, she tried to see if she could take the power out of rapunzel, hence she discovered cutting her hair made those strands lose their power There also is a 3 season tv series that takes place after the movie, it's worth the watch as it adds to the sundrop's lore, but season 1 is very slow and set up. with season's 2 and 3 being major lore dumps.
Honestly the best part of watching the videos here is you can actually hear the game. twitch keeps muting deebee's streams at certain points and it's aggravating when you are waiting for a specific reaction.

Yep and it’s a canon sequel. Disney tends to have a lot of shows taking place either before or after their movies. Timon and Pumbaa was one I used to really enjoy. Lilo and Stitch has a timeline split with the show and the movies if I remember correctly.

Doesn’t help that the shows were made in three different countries with different places on the timeline. Welcome back Dee. I haven’t been able to watch lately as I only watch games I’ve played already (I don’t wanna be spoiled) & I’ve never played KH. I know you’re still getting everything back on track but before this debacle was there a general idea on when you’d be doing the next Zelda or Metroid?
Good question. I know he’s focusing on Kingdom Hearts for the anniversary. He did have a stream to play Portal but he was hacked before he could. I could try and see if he has a schedule up. Update: so I checked and it’s likely he’s going to focus on Re:Mind alongside Portal. Shouldn’t be too long though since Portal isn’t a long game. Re:Mind isn’t a long DLC but considering a certain segment he’ll likely struggle. Haven’t seen the streams so I don’t know how far he is. Only that he had one for each already.
Kingdom Hearts III is really weird for me. There are a lot of cool points in the game that hit hard if you've played all the games. Except there's also a lot of filler worlds, cryptic scheming that only amounts to McGuffins in the final act and more unanswered questions after the credits rolled in typical kingdom hearts fashion. But above all, everything just felt rushed to me. Probably because I waited 10 years for this game to conclude the trilogy and it just didn't resonate with me by that point. You don't read a book and stop at the last chapter, then wait years to finish it.
What's the final chapter though?? BBS was a chapter. Then DDD was. Then the prolugue with aqua. The wait from that last one was 5 years I think or less. So.. you stopped halfway through the book if you waited since 2. And skipped a few chapters lol
@@tumultuousv KHIII was the final chapter in the Xehanort arc. The first major arc. Aqua ep was less of a prologue and more of an interlude. And yes, I did play BBS and DDD. BUT that's the problem. They spaced the games out too much, set up too many plotlines, then tried to squeeze them all into III and resolve them all at once. Resulting in a rushed ending that left a lot to be desired.
@@VoidShyrok well I do agree 3 was rushed plotwise. Definitely could've been a longer game with more meaningful worlds tbh. But the chapter comparisons doesn't work now that I think about it😂 it's more like each game is a book in a series, books Definitely take years to get released lol. @@tumultuousv Eh, the chapter stuff was meant to be a loose metaphor or analogy. Not really a 1 to 1 comparison. Trying to compare any work of fiction to something written by nomura just isn't fair to begin with.
Just as a heads up. I am probably going to have a bit of a rant post in the next Kingdom hearts video because of the monsters Inc. stage. There’s a bit of a flaw with the villains in the stage that I’d like to point out when that happens.
I'm sure everyone is gonna tell you that you need to watch Disney's Tangled, but, now that you completed the world in KH3, I suggest you watch "If Kingdom Hearts was canon" by Lusiggy on TH-cam. It's only a minute long, but is pretty funny.
Since you got to LimitCut, thought I'd let you know... people that have gotten to Level 99, with all the best fully upgraded gear, still can get killed quickly against those Data Fights. But, at the same time, those that learn their patterns are still able to beat them at level 1 by learning the proper timing for blocks and dodges. So, it's up to you how you handle that. But yeah, the fights will be hard regardless.

Kingdom Hearts III is really weird for me. There are a lot of cool points in the game that hit hard if you've played all the games. Except there's also a lot of filler worlds, cryptic scheming that only amounts to McGuffins in the final act and more unanswered questions after the credits rolled in typical kingdom hearts fashion. But above all, everything just felt rushed to me. Probably because I waited 10 years for this game to conclude the trilogy and it just didn't resonate with me by that point. You don't read a book and stop at the last chapter, then wait years to finish it.
What's the final chapter though?? BBS was a chapter. Then DDD was. Then the prolugue with aqua. The wait from that last one was 5 years I think or less. So.. you stopped halfway through the book if you waited since 2. And skipped a few chapters lol
@@tumultuousv KHIII was the final chapter in the Xehanort arc. The first major arc. Aqua ep was less of a prologue and more of an interlude. And yes, I did play BBS and DDD. BUT that's the problem. They spaced the games out too much, set up too many plotlines, then tried to squeeze them all into III and resolve them all at once. Resulting in a rushed ending that left a lot to be desired.
@@VoidShyrok well I do agree 3 was rushed plotwise. Definitely could've been a longer game with more meaningful worlds tbh. But the chapter comparisons doesn't work now that I think about it😂 it's more like each game is a book in a series, books Definitely take years to get released lol. But doesn't change the fact 3 felt rushed story wise
@@tumultuousv Eh, the chapter stuff was meant to be a loose metaphor or analogy. Not really a 1 to 1 comparison. Trying to compare any work of fiction to something written by nomura just isn't fair to begin with.

Since you got to LimitCut, thought I'd let you know... people that have gotten to Level 99, with all the best fully upgraded gear, still can get killed quickly against those Data Fights. But, at the same time, those that learn their patterns are still able to beat them at level 1 by learning the proper timing for blocks and dodges. So, it's up to you how you handle that. But yeah, the fights will be hard regardless.

Tangled is one of the best more recent Disney films in my opinion. Kingdom Hearts can't do it justice given how much it has to condense the narrative.
