Love this film. But you left out the fate of the doctor in your description, which is the best part. The doctor tries to surface in the diving suit, but he doesn't balance the pressure as he surfaces, so on the way up, he realizes his mistake just before his head goes _pop!_
“Let’s take Alien, The Abyss, and The Thing, shove em in a blender, whip it up, drink it down, and crap out a film!” - and that was the pitch for this movie and, uhh, here we are.
this is the movie that i have been trying to find for 20 years or something, i remember watching it as a kid and having nightmare about it but could never find the movie, thanks spoiler lab.
You’re supposed to recap the film, not keep repeating that the characters have no idea what is going to happen. 😑 Also, suits worn while working in the deep sea are called “diving suits”, not “space suits”. 🤦 And the narration at 11:52, when the supervisor draws a bit of blood to use as bait for the creature: “Beck sacrifices his red liquid…” Really? Was this entire script written by an AI that someone went out of their way to design to be as dumb as possible?
Bruh. There's obvious something up with the scripts for a lot of these videos. Like this one: They call it a "submarine" when it's not. Or say odd crap like, "Working in the ocean." Or calling the impending implosion of the station as an "unpleasant event". Calling it a "distress signal rocket" instead of a "flare". Or the "Calm surface of the ocean surface." Or calling an oil rig the "helicopter base". Saying that Beck "slaps" the boss lady. You could make watching these kinds of video a drinking game. Every time the narrator says something nonsensical, take a drink. I obviously don't know for sure. But, I'd bet real money that the script was written by an AI. Or someone who doesn't speak/write English and used MT.
LOL.... I forgot about this movie. It's the Thing underwater.. Oh yeah considering that a small piece of amputated flesh killed the rest of the team, blowing it up was a great choice. Lets spread it out further.
What you mean he mutated into something that could break through a metal wall!? In that case the other pieces of the mutant would be able to work their way back inside the enclosure
Great thinking there! Let's use fire in an enclosed environment with a limited supply of oxygen! It's not like humans need oxygen to live or anything!!!
No, that’s Marve, of crime syndicate The Sticky Bandits, previously known as The Wet Bandits. Real professionals. Not to be taken lightly. Unless faced against a devious psychopathic child with like, 30 minutes prep time; that’s their Kryptonite.
Later, Willie left oceanography for physics and constructed the Flash's suit (interestingly also originally for high pressure environments, like the ocean, hmmmm.....) and Jones changed his name to Winston to avoid quarantine and hired on with three paranormal investigators in New York; legends tell that "since he joined these men, he's seen sh*t that will turn you white" 😄
Hi! What do you think of this movie?
Movie name: Leviathan (1989)

A golden oldie. Was one of my favorites back in the day. It deserves a reboot.
I love the movie, HATE your recap!!
Trash movie for trash people
I love that brief period of sci-fi where the sets look futuristic but they're still using CRT monitors.
That bitch slap at the end was satisfying well deserved

1:19 The unmistakable eyes of the OG Robocop
Return the old voice 🤦🏻♂️
I haven't be watching his recap for weeks. I don't know why he changed the voice.

If a diver goes under water no matter how far you go you have to stop at certain points or levels before coming back up
YES, I believe 😏
Wtf was this? The beginning and more importantly the voice?

This is a version of The Thing, but happening underwater conditions, it's complete storytelling from John Carpenter's version.
