As a home owner myself I totally get what you're dealing with. Just celebrated the first year of home ownership 2 days ago and you couldn't be more right about "to-do lists" never being completely done. There's ALWAYS something to do. You do you man, we're here for you no matter when you upload. Congrats on the home purchase!

If you wanna get the bonus time more, get your train set up and ready to go before accepting the job. Makes things go much quicker
I started following your channel for GTA RP videos and found Jeff and Ryan and became a fan of their content through your channel so I always enjoy the GTA videos, but it's nice to branch out. Like you said, its nice to just chill and put the existential dread on the back burner for a little while.

I dont think buggs realises that when he went away for a few years, it wasnt the GTA content we missed, I mean jeff was still streaming as well as others, what we missed was you, your personality and just you being you tbh. Keep your head up my guy, you got quite the loyal fan base.

Pro tip: you can accept the jobs when your train is completely ready to go, so you can build your train and flip your locomotive around and hook it up before you accept the job, so once you accept it you can just leave immediately. Oh, and the O stands for Outbound and the I stands for Inbound.

Everybody's gotta have their chill game, the game they can always go to just to decompress and take it easy. Farming Sim series has always filled that role for me, just peacefully driving a tractor across a big old field for a couple hours.

Moving is a big stress in life and like you say new home ownership is like welcome to the money pit. I totally understand, we have moved 10 times since we have gotten married and this last house is it "The Giant Money Pit" husband loves it but we have lived here 10 years and he still has not finished painting inside or putting trim up. You are 100% correct about owning a house. It is nice being able to fix or change what you want to. my house is 131 years old and has needed things replaced that no new house should ever need replacing.

Slugs are commonly used by trains doing switching working in rail yards. At low speeds, a locomotives produces excess electrical current, a slug unit can use that excess electrical power and help provide extra tractive effort.

Honestly, for my first time actually choosing to watch derail valley and understand how it works, that was really good to watch. I enjoyed watching the gameplay and just how much you actually need to control the train and having a "time limit." I'd love to see more of it!
Buggs, don't worry about your upload schedule. You've given us hundreds of amazing videos over numerous years. I would rather you upload a few quality videos than a ton of low quality videos. Thank you for the great content over the years.

you can flip the train and then activate the order to save time. Also you mentioned how you can run the train backwards in the beggining but running them backwards makes them overheat wayyy easier so it works out that you run them forward.

Buggs we are all here to see you have fun. My advice to you is, don't force yourself to "have fun". Make content and upload it if you feel like it. You are always genuine when you're playing games. And the funny moments are actually funny. Your content never feels fake or forced. You, Ryan and Jeff have amazing chemistry and it is always a blast watching what you guys can come up with. Buggs, my brother... DO NOT apologize for being busy with your new home ownership!!!! Congrats on purchasing your home!!!! It is alot of responsibility and we very much understand and still appreciate your uploads!!! The wife and I bought a "fixer upper" a year ago to try to "flip" and it literally consumes every second of free time I have. You're right, the "to-do" list will never end. As soon as you think you're done, something else happens. If your still in FL, just take care of your A/C unit. 1 cup of bleach + 1 cup of hot water down that drain pipe every single month so it doesn't get nasty!!! I'm always here to answer any questions regarding to the turmoil of FL homeownership. Congrats again my brother. Take care!!!

Played for the first time last night. You are totally right about this being a nice break and calming game from the normal fps or gta games. Look forward to playing on my Friday nights. Don’t comment much on the channel but have always loved your content. I do use it as a bit of an escape while I’m working on late night projects, but even without new content we all know how much great content you’ve made already. There’s plenty of videos to go back and watch which is what I’ve been doing! It’s like a show you like that’s still releasing episodes, but it’s between seasons so you go back and watch old ones. Real fans know what I mean. You’re in between seasons dealing with life. If you didn’t do that all the tasks would build up until they crash down on you and who knows how long that would take you out for. So important to keep your life in order to maintain equilibrium. Do your thing brother and congrats on home ownership!!

I thought it was 4 years ago when I noticed you not uploading I got really upset about it because I have always enjoyed watching your content. It was a relief seeing you put out the crew video you recently did. Thanks for being my entertainment for around 6-8 years? (Idk about the time with that) I was watching since well before SAPDFR but congrats on the homeownership. Huge milestone to hit.

Buggs, I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say that no matter what you are going through, we will always be here to support you. whether you have a stable upload schedule or not the true fans will always be here. no matter the day no matter the video we will be right alongside you. me personally have been watching for close to 7 years now and you have changed my life more than you could ever imagine. I stated watching you when I was in 6th grade and now I just graduated high school and even though you didn't know it, you where there every step of the way. about a year and a half ago I lost my mother to drugs, since then I have been in the darkest places you can imagine and you were there for me. in the last 7 years I have watched and rewatched DOJ, Wreakfest, and even beam so many times its insane. you have really made an impact on my life and I want to say thank you. through hell or high water I will aways be here. I love you man. keep doin what you do. you have helped so many people and I bet will help so many more.

Life's been particularly hectic for me lately, so naturally I love seeing uploads from my favorite creators. But Buggs, I just want to say thanks for being some seriously great entertainment over the years, and a great distraction from life's bs, regular uploads or not.
This is the first not OCRP content I have watched and I agree that this train sim is nice and relaxing. Also, real like always takes over. Don't beat yourself up over the little things. We (your subscribers) will be here and always enjoy your content no matter when it is out.
You can get everything ready to go and then run the job through the validator machine and then go, saves time.

What I usually do is get all set and hooked up before putting the job in the validator. Then just hop in and go. Saves a ton of time trying to get the bonus.
I used to play this ages ago, completely forgotten about it! Downloading it again! Just play what you enjoy, I know I enjoy most videos you upload tbh... Best ones end up being you solo or with Ryan and Zack!
I don't think you need to try and make excuses for anything. You're a person. Problems occur and throw us off track. We all appreciate any content that you put out! It makes those problems some of us have be able to be shelved for about 30 minutes. So, thank you!
Hey buggs for the time bonus you can set up the train before accepting the job as long as you do go too far away from the yard. Then you have the whole time bonus for running down the road
30:49 I really needed to hear this, Buggs. Thank you! I can definitely relate to your issue with life getting in the way of your upload schedule. I started taking music more seriously and was promoting it on a daily basis for about the last 3 months (not the reason I'm commenting). Now I'm studying for my contractor's license so the motivation for anything else has become really stagnant.

The upload schedule never bothered me. The content has always been really good and always enjoyed it and honestly made the wait worth it! Plus the time between uploads helped me catch up and watch a lot of the older stuff or other videos that i loved! So go and do you buggs! We can wait 😊

More Derail Valley please! Was great to watch. I suggest you purposely go too fast otherwise it might be boring for most of your viewers who aren't train obsessed... think of it like reality wrecking your OCD perfect score. Who doesn't like seeing a massive clustertruck?
I even have a suggestion on a game for you and your hilarious group to play -- Stationeers. It's about building a station in space, but it's unbelievably intricate/detailed, and absolutely hilarious moments happen if you casually ignore the pressure limit on your oxygen tank and accidentally detonate yourself and the base... great fun, updates beta branch like twice a day. Small team out of New Zealand work on it -- I'd love to see someone with your status play it. It really deserves more love than it gets.

It can be as complex or as simple as you'd like it to be and you're not stuck to the rails :) Been a subscriber for a while and it brought an instant smile seeing this! Hey bugs, as somone who also enjoys derail i have a few tips for ya. 1 do your train hookup before starting the job(s). Second last i played was before the slug was finctional ingame but what i was doing was running to engines both facing away from eachoter. So id always hqve at least one set of controls going forward and not needing to faf about with turning things arround. Good luck with the forever long todo list and have a good time relaxing with derail. Hope to see you try steam!

I've been on the fence for the game and just purchased it.. you nailed it on the head. Congratulations on home ownership. Make a yearly/quarterly calendar for things like pressure washing, gutter cleaning etc and it helps prevent the larger unexpected expenses when things get neglected

Trains don't stop on a dime, and neither will life if you try. We all appreciate what you do, and us who truly understand don't have any problems with inconsistency, such is life.
