As the MV rolls over the 10 million views mark, it’s the perfect day to react to the live video. MISA’s bass has grown a fifth string. Miku has become a fine guitarist and keeps on getting better. And Saiki still claims that she’s “just a lonely girl.” God I love this band.
Now that's what I call fucken rock n roll. ...wow that sounded real good. . difficult to say with band maid what would make a top ten choice and opinions differ but this song has to be up there.
HAI FUCKING YAH!! Miku thrashing her guitar around, Kanami’s windmill headbanging, and Saiki giving someone up front the finger! And that’s just the first 30 to 40 seconds! Thanks for giving Real Existence it’s proper spotlight!💪🏻🤘🏻
What's really great about Band-Maid especially when performing live is that they do not try so hard to become like that generic rock star character. They just enjoy playing some cool hard rock music and it is so much fun to watch!
Love this band, for those who were around for the late 60's and 70's LIVE band performances this was flashback heaven!!! When bands played raw and loud and drove the crowds nuts without any technology only pure musicianship, which these ladies have and then some!!!Miku has become a very good guitarist and Saiki's vocals are terrific especially LIVE, BUT that rhythm section is second to none playing today. I am sure Jack Bruce (RIP) of the great Cream group would love Misa and that dominant bass, Ginger Baker would have to smile at Akane and her work and even Eric Clapton would be impressed with Kanami!! To see them LIVE would be awesome and a concert well worth remembering!! Nice reaction now try some old fashion Judas Priest and 80's metal with Mary's Blood Marionette (th-cam.com/video/MLM2unV0kwU/w-d-xo.html) and see another female guitar shredder (SAKI with her fingers of steel) go at it with Rio's really dominant bass sound!!!
Time for a cup of tea everybody because that's how long it takes to read nightwish long posts. ..just joking. Lol. ..good points made by the nightwish.
I remember seeing Judas priest . ..loads of talent around in them days. ..pink Floyd, cat Stevens, John Kongos,. The doors, Jethro tull ..Hawkwind. ..the list goes on. ..however great music later on come from Morrissey, the smiths, talk talk, the the, goth band the sisters of mercy. ... it's nothing new. ..band maid are just in a list of good groups and talent. ...listen to talk talk spirit of Eden and see the difference a band is that does not follow the rules and made in the midst of all the rubbish in the eighties...
This track by band maid in my opinion is one of there best and shows just how good they are. ..I think he may have to 25 tracks and then pick a top 10 or try too. ..so many good songs. ..
@@nevillecorkin7464 I saw Hendrix, Tull, Cream, Queen, Doors, Cat Stevens and Harry Chapin and others and these ladies LIVE are every bit as good except for Hendrix, who was just something so new and radical he was mind numbing, but Cream was a trio that this rhythm section reminds me of and they will be just as great as that super group by the time they are done. I know I am long winded lucky for me YT doesn't charge by the word to comment yet, but watch out that maybe coming (LOL)!!!!
MISA MISA MISA! 25th song in a 26 song set yet they have the energy they started with HOW ?????? Saiki still hasn't got her shoes back. loved the headbaging from Kanami at the start.
You, badass Corkin...remember this....Band-Maid is always better than Nightwish. I''ve listening to Nightwish since 1997. They are one of my all time favourites. But Band-Maid just rip 'em off the track in every aspect. Nuff said. Keep them reactions coming... Love your channel mate. Rock your body one step at a time.
The music video for Real Existence has just reached ten million views. A fantastic achievement for a group that is not going to make main stream radio play in the West until someone realises that singing in English does not mean people won't like it. I know Kpop bands get views in their millions but they have an enormous budget and unlimited promotion that appeals to a wide demographic. Band Maid have other music videos that are getting to the ten million views as well. Here is a link to a fan cam that you will enjoy. Part of their live show in the US last year: th-cam.com/video/av2voM1sj3s/w-d-xo.html
Labels seem so damned important to most people. I am this. This is that. Well, l would humbly suggest we start labeling these ladies appropriately. I suggest these world class ladies stop being referred to as JROK and start being referred to as WROK. World-class Rock. Because that is what they are fast becoming. And they are my favorite hard rock band.
Just recently I had a discussion with my friends from various countries, should we try to love the "Small Motherland," i.e. the town or city or region where we were born, or should we rather try to be world citizens. My feeling is that local culture must be respected, if it is our foundation. For example, Miku writes poetry in Japanese, her lyrics in English are rather disconnected words and slogans. Which is natural. She was born in Japan, she speaks only Japanese language, and she knows intimately only the Japanese culture. She can't be called a citizen of the world, because she is deeply rooted in the local culture of her land. For us foreigners, it's a good chance to learn about Japanese culture, although we miss a lot of things Miku would like to tell us. The very fact that we Russians, Americans, Brits, Scots, Mexicans, Argentinians, etc., love BAND-MAID, is the strongest and most amazing proof that we are all humans, and share many things in common, irrespective of where we were born. Nevertheless, BAND-MAID is still J-Rock, because their foundation is Japanese culture. J-Rock becoming World Rock, though :-) Many Americans, upon hearing BAND-MAID, spontaneously exclaimed: "Oh, Rock is not dead, it just moved to Japan!" Now, J-Rock becomes the light of the world, in the same way, as British rock was in 70s, and American metal in 80s :-)
@@VladimirChupin a very well thought out answer and l think you know l was not suggesting in any way that they forsake their culture and heritage. In fact they are excellent ambassadors for their native land. I, certainly, have learned more about Japan in the last two years than l had accumulated in the 65 years pervious. Music is the universal language and as such can transcend cultural and national boundaries in a way few other things can. I use the Beatles as a template. Except for a few songs released in German they obviously sang in English. And long before the Internet they were welcomed in countries where only word of mouth let people know they were coming. I simply see that kind of potential in this band. And l have seen little to contraindicate my assessment. When these ladies are seen they are loved. I respect your opinion. Just hoping for a slightly different outcome.
@@sacluvsBM, exactly so! I think we are on the same wavelength here. It hits me as an all-time miracle that music is a language-and a universal one! Of course, people can choose to speak only a local dialect, which would not be so easy to understand outside their homeland, but even such a dialect will find some fans worldwide, who would be attracted to this ethnic music.
