It looks like you may have missed the Eternity edp flanker. It compares to Greenley IMO with a strong apple opening and a rose leaning floral for the mid. It's probably discounted enough to take a chance on.
The edp by Pascal Gaurin is easily my favourite of the line. It's not even close. If I were to get only one, that'd be it. Add to that the middle eastern Euphoria "Gold" flankers and that about sums up the modern goodies from CK to me. Vintage Calvin and Obsession for Men are where it's at.
I love your honesty. I too loved Eternity in the 90s, men's & women's both, and of course CK One. They're excellent entry level fragrances, often found for a bargain 😊. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise!
I also went through Obsession in the late eighties (along with the 'Calvin' release) as well as Eternity in 1990 - those wonderful commercials. I loved their fragrances back then. Beautiful scents. Incredible memories. Really evocative. Those first three fragrances were the best they ever produced. Calvin Klein was a big deal back then. I still have two bottles of the vintage formulation.

I have to recognize Calvin Klein as the brand that got me into fragrances. As a teen in the 90s, CK One was the first fragrance I ever purchased on my own. I also loved CK Be, Escape, and Obsession. It is a shame how bad the entire line has become since Coty took over. I repurchased a couple about a year ago and was greatly disappointed. They used to be one of the best houses and now they are a laughing stock. Thankfully I still have two vintage bottles that were manufactured by Calvin Klein Cosmetics in New York: a 1994 bottle of CK One with about 25-30 ml left, and a 1995 bottle of Obsession with about 80ml left.
yes, it is unbelievable they "market" these fragrances as "perfum" when in fact they just are NOT. Unreal. I would return it back to Macys'.....ive done that before with fragrances that were shams.
I was impressed with Drakkar Noir years ago because it was so strong and so very different than most colognes. Do you recommend a long lasting stronger cologne that is very different than most? Preferably eau de parfum or higher. Thanks anyone who makes a recommendation!!!
For me, this smelled like a weird vanilla coconut. I received 2 carded samples from my contact at Macy's and testing this fragrance about 3 times now, it just isn't good. I truly believe that Parfum has become a marketing ploy for all designer houses.
The original eternity was awesome It was one of the best smells when it came out How are you gonna knock thatI bought a bottle when I waseventeen and I bought a bottle when I'm 44 It still smells good I'm interested in this one though
If you sprayed the original formula in the AM you'll still smell it in the evening after taking a shower mid day and playing basketball in the afternoon. I always associate Eternity with Basil Mandarin Lavender and vetiver. Disappointed 😞

Bro, you judge every Parfum concentration that you get up against Dior Homme Parfum. You can't do that. DHP is lightning in a bottle. It's probably one of the heaviest Parfums ever made. Not every Parfum you smell is gonna be in the same ballpark. You tore the new Code Parfum to shreds and it's a great fragrance. Stop having your expectations so high please.

I agree with you completely about this fragrance. The attendant at the Macy’s counter raved about it, but I feel that the big dept store fragrances generally smell uninspired and derivative. Imaginary Authors basically destroyed the mass market fragrance game for me and I only sporadically look back.

I wish I had watched this video before I bought it. I just bought some this Father’s Day weekend. I wore it to church but was disappointed. You expressed some of the same views I felt and feel.
I really like CK Eternity EDP… So was excited about the Parfum, until I saw the notes. Then when I smelled it… It was not at all what I would have expected Eternity Parfum to be.. I bought the 2022 Summer Daze Eternity flanker.. just a cheapie for shits and giggles.. This smelled more like a Parfum version of that flanker then the original Eternity. If you haven’t picked up the EDP version… That is much nicer and closer to the og… Just slightly modernized and deep, denser, etc…
99 bucks for a CK fragrance. How times have changed. I only ever enjoyed euphoria by CK (womens version). My mom always loved the original eternity for women. This house is nothing special. Some good ones, but not many.
There's a note in most mens Designer fragrances that smells to me like burning plastic or something. Something really, really off and astringent (but strong)... I feel like others must smell it differently than me.
I am not surprised, I don't expect much from stream line designer fragrances, and Alberto Morillas has been disappointing me for a while now even in his Mizensir line.

Calvin Klein fragrances are very basic, not photo-realistic (let's not say synthetic) and poor performing. Uber heavy discounted, but that's not an excuse for the lacklustre package, as Lalique, Bentley and Boucheron have similar discounted prices and are the exact opposites. Kids, buy Lalique Encre Noire A L'Extreme, Bentley For Men Intense and/or Boucheron Jaipur EDP instead of this one. Cheers!

The EDP is actually nice… I think you might like it. It’s better then any others that I can think of.
I got recommended Euphoria Amber too, and it's excellent. Big yes. Definitely a stand out blind buy for me.

This parfum does badly on first impressions but give it some time. It impressed me. Good performance on my skin.

When I think of current CK frags I think of weak and thin. I expect maybe 1 hr of performance.
Azzaro fragrances blows Coty out of the water.....lol....I would even compare them.....I'd take Azzaro anytime plus last forever lol

the occasions that I have purchased CK. no more..... why ? as they ALL have no legs. They do not last. Hence as to WHY they are sooooooo inexpensive.

It seems the only modern release from CK that's actually good is Euphoria Amber Gold. So glad I got a backup. It's no where to be found now.
