Great review. I love this doll line. I bought all the classic ballet series when they came out (can't believe it was so long ago). These dolls are amazing. The different sculpts and face ups were so nice. The costumes are so well thought out and beautiful. I really wish Mattel would be this kind of effort into the Barbie line again. It's the brunette swan dolls that are missing from your collection. They were part of the classic ballet series, but from Swan Lake, not the Nutcracker. I'd highly recommend them, but the classic ballet series is my favorite Barbie series all in all, so I'm a little bias. :)
I don't usually get them unless I find them with very affordable prices. I looked up the ones you mentioned, they are very pretty. I will have to look for them.
I got all the ballerina's when the originally came out in the stores, bought myself but mostly received as gifts. I know you can still find some of those on ebay or Amazon.
I love your Ballerina collection. Did all of the dolls you unboxed in this video come with certificates of authenticity? I just bought from a seller that said new in box and it didn't come with one and the doll smells like perfume, so I believe the seller was dishonest, but I just wanted to make sure the doll was supposed to come with it.
Certificates of Authenticity are things I don't keep anymore. I know I had a stack of them but I'm not sure I kept them. Just like I only keep a few doll boxes, I didn't have the space anymore for boxes.
These are so pretty. I love the Marzipan doll. Her dress colors are so pretty. I also want the Swan Ballerina doll and the Juliet ballet doll someday. The ballet Barbie dolls look so beautiful and graceful.

How come they dont spin and make music like a music box. ballerinas are meant to be that way. Not stand still.
I only know of 2 Barbie ones that spin like a music box. Guess we are to make believe everything else for the others.
