- Stereophonics es un grupo galés de rock formado en 1992 y llamado en sus comienzos "Tragic Love Company", inspirándose en los nombres de sus grupos favoritos Tragically Hip, Mother Love Bone y Bad Company. Comenzaron como banda juvenil y más tarde, inspirados en un gramófono de la abuela de uno de los integrantes, cambiaron su nombre al actual.

I wouldn't go that far but it is a very good cover - mainly because of Kelly Jones' voice.
I love this band probably my favourite active band going but this is nowhere near the Stones original. No Mick or Merry Clayton Not better than Keith doing both guitars, not better than Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts banging out the rhythm section. Very good cover though

Agree with the previous comment: stone sour&lizzy hale is a top cover for this song. This cover is good, but come on. Corey Taylor and Lizzy - strong charisma and very powerful performers just objectively. Female part is essential in this song by the way and difficult to resemble.

Gimme Shelter is my No 1 song since I first heard it in the 60s!! They were brave to do this just love it best cover ever except the one by The Counterfeit Stones also brilliant how to cover the uncoverable.
