Thank you!!! I commented on your shadows video just now too lol thank you for a video not involving nodes!! Been trying to figure it out for a loooooong time❤❤
I'm not sure what you mean. I feel like the first half of the video with the circle mask is pretty much as simple as it gets. Maybe I just didn't explain it well enough?
Oh, gotcha. No, I just figured it out by messing around. I can see now why that would be confusing jumping into that project that's already been built up. I'll do a quick tip video showing that part from scratch with something simpler. Thanks for the feedback, it's really helpful!
TheDiscoNarwhal cheers that would be great.its a cool effect and I was looking at your screen in the vid thinking" this is too completed to follow without it being broken down into a step by step"
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll probably do that next, though it might be a little while because I'm finishing up a new Game Grumps animated right now.
Okay, great. Though can I ask you, does toonboom also allow you to make interactive games? When you say, "Game Grumps animated" what does this exactly mean or is defined as? You see, I'm under the impression that toonboom makes movies or animated shorts, etc. not actual games. You would need to also program or engineer interactivity, right? How are you making a game? It would be cool if you showed us the process actually.
Oh, no ToonBoom is just an animation software. Game Grumps is a youtube gaming channel and I, along with many other animators, take audio clips of conversation from their videos and animate around them. Example: th-cam.com/video/yX4Y-s13FBo/w-d-xo.html
In Harmony 16 add a cutter node by: Node view > RMB > Insert > Combine > cutter > or .... open Node Library > Combine > Cutter > drag to Node View
Thanks for walking us through it! I’m used to PS-styled masks, so it helps knowing the weird duplication that ToonBoom needs for it. Helped a lot!
Me too, lol. Glad it helped!
Dude, you're awesome. Keep pumping videos. It doesn't have to be major tutorials either. Love your channel! Cheers!
hey dude when I click on the "+" symbol the list stops in Sounds, the "effects" is not there :(
Pleaaaase heeelp mee!!
