Loved it! Variety is good... I say do what interests you and put your own style into it. Not every video needs to be the same style or subject matter. I appreciated the uniqueness of this project, and it turned out great! The reclamation of old materials is something I really value. I think it's great that you took the time to do that, and to inspire others as well. Keep it up!

Fantastic work brother!!! In this day of disposable everything and wastefulness I really enjoyed seeing you showcase the true worth of that salvage by using your creativity to make a one of a kind piece that will get many more years of good use. Keep up the great work. And I did really enjoy the way you just let your work speak for itself.👍💯👏

This table arrived well packaged and on time. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!

Among all the professional workbench/table building videos THIS is one I'm going to use as reference for sure. :)
I have a lot of 50~ years old lumber at my late grandfather's vineyard so building anything from it looks a lot like you presented in this video.
All of the material is curved, bent, has nails and screws in it, and the surface is really rough sawed making the building process very different from store bought materials.
Thank you for the inspiration, this content is especially reassuring for me and for the people who don't just burn and throw away stuff that is old :D
Money is not an issue, nor the protection of the environment... but this is a mentality that leads to those things saved by the end of the day tho' :)
    Greetings from Hungary!

Cool build. I am doing a similar project with 2x wood I recycled from my neighbors planter beds. I cut off the moldy parts and built the frame. I have 8' + boards for the top. They are 2x material of various widths after cutting off the rot. The long edges are either rough cut with a circular saw cut against a straight edge or the edge that came on the board initially. They don't fit together precisely and Im ok with a rough and rustic look. The table will be used outside for various things; garden party service table with a runner etc... Previous tables I have build with recycled wood I biscuit and glued the top pieces but since this is so rough I'm thinking more picnic table style with slight gaps being ok. I like the method you used here. Any worry about the wood being restrained on both ends? Perhaps no because it has been outside so long and is very dry? Same with my situation. Thanks for the video inspiration.

También podríamos ponernos a pintar el comedor con un traje de boda y después soldar una palangana! Porqué no! Mañana a la oficina con un traje de baño, o mejor aún, en pelotas! No pega ni con cola!
