Uruapan, Michoacan - UGLY AND DANGEROUS, OR A NATIONAL TREASURE?

The Michoacan Motorcycle Diaries continue!
In this video, my friend @TeoAltamirano and I traveled on his motorcycle to the city of Uruapan, Michoacan, a city that has a terrible reputation for being dangerous in the media. A place that I was warned not to go to, but what I discovered was the complete opposite - an extremely diverse and enchanting city!
We went during Holy Week, when the largest artisan handcraft market in Latin America took place, and spent a few hours exploring it! But Uruapan is much more than that, and in this vlog you'll see why!
I dedicate this video to the people of Uruapan and all of Michoacan that suffer from the bad reputation that the media paints you with. The city of Uruapan and the state of Michoacan is beautiful, and the world needs to know! You guys deserve to have more positive coverage about your home. I hope that this video does that.
