I am working on getting my AWS, Solutions Architect Professional and I enjoyed hearing this. The Cloud is great for it's agility and the on-prem will always be faster, but has administration overhead. The problem that most business are having is that the cloud isn't as cheap as it was advertised. I believe you guys stated this on this video. I really enjoyed this and you guys are a nice find. Glad you found us and thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the episode. We couldn't agree more. The cloud is often advertised as a cost-effective solution, but the reality is more nuanced. While it can lead to greater agility and significant cost savings in certain scenarios, it may not always be the cheapest option depending on workload type, usage patterns, performance, and other factors. Hybrid cloud is our new reality and when implemented with the right mix of platforms, it can offer the best of all worlds. We encourage organizations to carefully analyze their specific needs before committing fully to any one architecture.
