Some of my earliest living memories are of being at Rowley Park with my parents and older siblings in the late 70s. We used to sit just coming onto the back straight near turn 2 on the Torrens Road side.
I was there, got home at sunup so a long night. Watching the first minute and saw a racecar I knew the owner of and the Adelaide Engine Service pushcar

AND WESTMEAD (SYDNEY) AND NOW ARCHERFIELD (BRISBANE) JUST TO NAME A FEW. I WAS LUCKY IN MY YOUTH TO ATTEND THOSE VENUES. THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF TODAY HAVE MISSED OUT ON THE GOOD TIMES. PETER WADE.
