I love watching ken play the guitar. Whenever I see him with the guitar he truly looks 'at one' with the instrument, like nothing else in the world matters. It's a pleasure watching someone who is in love with playing his instrument, and rare. All L'arc members are exceptional at their craft.
This band blew me away around 2010.All of them - Guitar , Bass , Drums and Awesome singer ( and very colorful orchestration as well) .I have all of their albums.Such a talented music creators.Ken is one of my favorite guitarists , his guitar tone and playing expression are exceptional !!!
this guy sure knows how to play, i listen to Malmsteen, Petrucci and Gilbert even other guitar gods, but he still have that character and tonality. without Ken solos, L'Arc-en-Ciel won't have that nice sounds overall
he's not technical skill than the other guitarist, like joe satriani, paul gilbert, steve vai etc. But he has a character and soul. that;s make his guitar sound so lovely
He really likes that Jojoushi line (and I know it goes way back like Driver's High, but the one in Jojoushi's the most median, not to mention a core part of that solo)
