People keep bringing up Minshews mobility, but back n forth of running in circles too buy time to throw an INT doesn't sell to me. Plus Aidan did get 15 or so yards rushing. He's always improving.

What i like about fans who want the mahomes, allens and lamar jackson, wake the f up, there are not anyone like these guys. There is only one mahomes, allen and Lamar. What you want is a qb who can consistently put the offense in position to score. Then you have the haters who keep saying we need a mobile qb. Why? Joe burrow was sacked 6 times by the broncos and still threw 3 tds, 300 yds and won the game. Aidan has shown he can do much more. Everyone complaining about it being the saints forget how he played against the chiefs last year. Ya, he didnt throw a TD, but he kept us in position to win and did enough to keep the defense in the game as opposed to keeping the defense on the field for over half the game and burning them out. On the facing the goal post thing, most qbs will do that to roll out of the pocket. Not often, but it is done, he just didnt feel where the danger was
I'm honesty not against keeping AOC. I was saying last year they should stick to a guy and see what he can do 3 or 4 year's in with Bowers, another solid WR option and improve the o line so they can actually run the ball.

AOC has the arm to make all the throws and he’s definitely improving in moving his feet to extend plays, the knock I still have on him is consistency, he will look really good one week and then bad the next, that said consistency can definitely improve with experience. Hopefully he finishes the season strong and we stay put in the draft and take best player available rather then sell the farm to move up.
Raider great Plunkett didnt win a SB his first 6 yrs going from Patriots to SF. He won 2 SB for the Raiders so we need patience with AOC he is still growing season after season. Once he plateaus and we see no growth then Raiders can get a different QB. Right now we need help with O Line and backfill defensive players that we dont resign. If a decent QB manages to fall to the Raiders take him but no jeed to trade up 2025.

A good running game will help any QB Alternatively, trade some picks for 2026 Draft Capital so the Raiders can go after QB talent that can be relied on for the next decade. AOC is a good back up QB. All the other teams in our division went and got their QB. Even on the first play you showed. One move to the left and he probably has at the least, a really good gain or a TD with a throw to the WR on the left. There are a bunch of misses with receivers breaking open but since the O-line is trash and he’s not mobile it’s a wrap.
He’s not that guy! He can’t extend plays with his legs when the protection breaks down and it’s just a sack. He puts no pressure on the defense that he can run downfield for big chunks of yards. He basically needs a clean pocket to be successful

Also, I am from Michigan and the Lions have never been to a Superbowl and have stunk for decades until recently. What surprised me why are Raiders even playing Aiden the season is over at 2-12 who cares what Aiden does against 3rd string Jags and Saints. Aiden is a disappointment so are the Raiders they are a last place team who win garbage games at the end.

We had most of our second (and 3rd) stringers in. On defense especially. We are on our 4th runningback.
