Banchero my favorite player of all time but I think he dribbles a little too much lol
He's been dribbling a lot because there's a lot of players he's playing with that he hasn't played with that much. Guys that don't usually play. The magic is missing a couple of starters and like 3 main role players. He doesn't usually do a lot of dribbling, but without the magic second leading scorer in franz he has to take on more of a scoring role. Like that guy okeke or whatever, he started tonight but haven't even been in the rotation until the last week or so. Same with Caleb houston, who scored 25 for the magic, he hasn't been in the rotation either, and he started tonight. So that's some of the reasons for paolo dribbling a lot, trying to create for himself and get used to playing with some of the 3rd string guys.

I get it though - you saw Trae Young put up 30 points on 57 shots and you think you got something to be proud of
Trae is a liability. Watching him on defense would frustrate me if I was a Hawks fan. And he should be better overall since he has been in the league 4 years longer than paolo. But paolo will pass him up soon. As the league continue to evolve and point guards continue to be 6'7 and taller, Trae will be too much of a liability for teams that he will probably slowly get fazed out of a starting lineup, and soon after, out of the league.
Trae is a foul merchant and shot chucker who is overrated and far less valuable of an asset.
Banchero is a great player but Trae is better, very talented
