I've just discovered an amazingly perfect pair of socks. As I work toe upwards, there's a chain that needs to be worked mid way to create the upper part. Since I'm working with such a fine black colour, I really struggle with making this a foundation chain. So I'm using this as a way to turn the requested chain into a foundation chain that a) I can see better, and doesn't twist, and b) it adds a slight pop of colour - I love this! It's so simple, too! Thanks! 🩷
😱 omg perfect 👍 definitely great for handles for baskets beach bags small rugs if you stitch them together maybe trivets 🤷♀️🤷♀️a million things really … ty so much … you are such a joy to listen to … I love hearing your voice .. I could listen to you speak all day… ty ty ty
😊Thax for the update lovely Wan. I always love every piece of your work. Blessings, blessings Waiting for More like other easy shorts! dress!😊 and so on
Thank you so much for the video! This technique is really great! It is making me consider changing the handles that have been halfway sewn onto a beautiful crochet bag I made and using leftover yarn from the bag instead 😍 I immediately thought of those annoying pleather handles and now I want this instead. I took them off a bag I really liked but they're what's been keeping me from finishing the project for MONTHS since needles can't really go through at all😕
Very easy n clear instructions love your videos 😍😍 u r a good tutor God bless you ❤️ Thank you so much 🙏 Please upload different bags with crochet base not leather one ❤️❤️
Woo woo! Very imaginative and bright idea. I will definitely use this two color strand. Luv 💗 p.s. maybe a pillow border? or a cuff border for a sweater jacket? or spiraled into a bedside rug? so many possibilities!
Do these cords make long lasting straps for crossbody bags? I'm looking for some way to make sturdy straps that don't stretch too much over time, because I'm not confident that the single crochet/slip stitch method will last too long for the bags I've made for my sisters and niece.
It really depends on the yarn. I think these made with cotton or other natural fibers will last a long time, and won’t stretch too much. Synthetics have a tendency to stretch
