I've loved this song ever since I first watched the second season of Shakugan no Shana and it's the reason I initially became a Mami Kawada fan. Still one of my all time favourites too.
I won't skip any OP or ED theme from Kawada Mami, especially in Shakugan no Shana, no matter how many anime I had watched, Shakugan no Shana is always 1st place in my heart, because of it's storyline, characters and dope OST ! Although Kawada Mami had retired from being a singer, but she's still active as a lyricist, glad ^^ Kawada Mami is talented in writing lyrics for anime OP, because she always read anime script before completing lyrics for anime theme song ^^ Mami-san, can you please upload Serment MV?
The song just passed my mind even though the last time I rewatched the anime was last year. I guess this is how much I like the song. Even as a kid, I liked listening to this song. Now that more than a decade passed, I guess I can say that I love this one.
Not even one of the best anime, but songs from the 2005-2011 period are just so much better than those made now. Mami's songs were always some of the best from that time too, and I still think of them.

Not necessarily. This was released in Japan like around 2011-2012-ish. It's just Mami Kawada (who has actually retired as a singer) have started releasing content previously only available for Japanese fans in international channels like this.
