I would also consider maintenance on water draining areas like the retention pond by house #2. We got a new build next to a drainage pipe and were told we wouldn't need to worry about it. 12 months later we find out it's actually all on us. You could also ask the builder if they're building that same floor plan in other areas! We looked at a lot of new builds that were in one location, but put an offer on another location. Such an exciting time! It can be emotionally draining, especially when you fall in love and it's taken away. You got this💪
I’m currently in the market for a second vacation home and am beyond disappointed and over the current market. People have lost their minds with bidding wars. They are bidding on homes they haven’t even seen and homes are selling in 4 hours. Asking prices are through the roof for subpar properties. I’m hoping interest rates increase and correct the market. I would suggest holding out until late 2022 or 2023. I’m considering building, but those costs are also higher. I may just continue to pile up cash.
As someone who just went through the process, the market is insane right now. We put in a offer for 10k over asking and someone put in an offer above ours that they accepted 🤯🤯
Is there a way to increase how much you are preapproved for? $520,000 seems like a lot of money for such a young couple. If there is, that would be a really good video to make!
Comments like these make no sense. Sure - housing is crazy expensive these days but what are we supposed to do, be homeless instead? Their rent is likely similar to what this mortgage will be.
@@WiiKitty It's cool they can afford it but that's still too much money for a house for any location in the US. It's a bigger issue with the housing climate, not with the individual buying the house. Except all the corporations paying 400k and up for houses and re-selling them for 600k and up.
People are just too comfortable with debt now and it’s progressively increases cost of everything. My parents generation they had to beg for a small car loan even, with good paying jobs.
I've been waiting for this series!!! Your consistency is honestly unmatched, can't wait to say I'm an OG subscriber someday lol.

Good luck on your search!! Looking forward to watching the series!
Thank you!!
So pumped for this series!
Same honestly!!
I can’t get over how housing is so different based on where you live. You can’t even barely get a condo here for 500k anymore….
It’s so crazy!!! Even from different cities in our area too

Good luck on your journey, it can be disheartening when that happens but believe me, it will all work out.
Thank you so much!! Everything always works out 💕

$400k for a house is too much money

It's actually pretty normal for houses around here, especially for what we are looking at 😊
I think it honestly depends on the location/area and what a person is willing to pay based on what they want.
