    ABOUT:
    Hi! I’m Valeria and I’m an expat in Italy. I’ve moved here (almost) on a whim when my plans in Paris got ruined - without speaking the language and totally unprepared, but pretty sure this is gonna be an adventure of a lifetime! Moving to Italy has definitely had its ups and downs, but I love discovering Italian culture, Italian people and, of course, Italian food. Here I post regular travel vlogs, tips on expat life, moving to Italy, personal growth and self-esteem as an expat woman living abroad.

    Hi there…. I really loved your video. It’s really very much helpful. I’m actually planning to do my Master’s program in Italy 🇮🇹 but I’m kinda very confused about choosing university. I want to do Master’s in English Literature , could you please suggest me which public university in Italy would be best for English Literature? I’d prefer if it’s in Milan or Rome but I would love to appreciate your suggestions cause I’m totally blank now. But I have heard the reputation of Bologna university. Please help me to find a good university in Italy. Thank you.🙂

    Im considering both cafoscari and macerata. Having spent some time there, and looking at the time it would take to learn the language, which would you recommend for one to easily assimilate into italian society for the duration of a masters program?

    • @DramaticallyExpatic
      @DramaticallyExpatic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think both are great to be honest. It's difficult to say, as Macerata is smaller and thus might be seen as more "closed", but very often people have the most fantastic experience in smaller Italian cities. Venice is obviously more expensive, but might be more international. I'd make the choice based on the program that I like more!

      I think you should decide which program suits your needs and interests best, and listen to your heart! I'd 100% recommend you to check out Academia di Belle Arti. It's a form of an artistic university, and it's much better for these programs than the "traditional" uni. Most big cities have their academies, and they're all public (so no crazy fees). Try Rome, Milan, Florence, Turin or Bologna, just google "Accademia di Belle Arti xyz city". Best of luck!

      Basically all of the universities I mention in this video are pretty good, and offer good nursing degrees. There are few jobs on campus, but you can try looking for a job requiring English in the city (the bigger the city, the easier it is to find a job without speaking Italian). Sadly, I can't help with bureaucratic questions, since I'm an EU student and the rules are different, but once you're here student offices should be able to provide you with more info.
