Maybe she was nervous. Besides it must be for some people then. I watched this in x1.25 and I had no problem understanding.
It was a lightning talk, it is meant to be a very short duration talk. I'm pretty sure the presenter was not showing off but wanted to run through her content. TH-cam does have playback speed control if folks like to slow things down or up.
