- Wheels are the same on the xpedition, pro R and ranger 1500. If you want a better stance go with a 4+3 offset to widen your xpedition even more. I’ll update everyone on how things hold up over time. So far the aftermarket belt I’ve installed has worked well. If you have any questions comment and ask.

That machine is so nice! It’s as close as you can get to like a jeep on the inside but still a sxs. Awesome video.
Very true. Thanks
Awesome build I hope you do this with the defender ! Thanks for the content
I’ve got a few other modifications I’m picking up tomorrow and I’ll have the xpedition where I want it to be.
What all do you have planned for your defender?
@@americandream_89 I’ve added a rear bumper, fender flares , radio , rock sliders , front light bar , rear work lights, floormats , the cooler container you suggested , winch remote you suggested . I would love to add some 32s at some point and engine mods but I’m waiting till the warranty is up 😂
Nice machine I just bought a X 2 seater was wanting to put 5/2 32inch on mine clearance was my concern thanks
Thanks
Glad to help
32’s look small on that. Bad Ass dude!
I thought so too. I’ve seen people put 33’s no lift. I’m happy with the 32’s
Hey buddy. I’m watching dirt dudes utv and they just bought a new expedition adv. there saying that by increasing the tire size, it has helped with the cab noise. I don’t know bc I don’t own one… Yet. Lol. Something to checkout. Have a blessed day 🙏🏻
Good morning buddy
I just installed 32s it possibly helped minimal but nothing I would say is the fix to cab noise. I truly think it would take extensive work to fix cab noise issues people have.
Thanks for the input. Hope you have a blessed day also.
@@americandream_89 Polaris has a recall for the noise. They’re using different weights in the primary clutch. I’d still add some kind of barrier to the back wall panel to help with the noise also.
Nice content again. Maybe with my xpedtion I’ll dig the go pro out and start videoing my rides again. Plus I have a drone also now. I spent about 6-7 hours this week on sealing up the cracks in the cab on my xpedition. Also I added a little sound deadening mat to the back firewall/ plastic piece. That actually seemed to help from the little I’ve rode around the yard. Currently I’m cutting out the thick horse mat for floor mats and have a giloman clutch kit I’m considering throwing in to try this weekend. I also found 2 missing bolts for my rear seat. So my back seat wasn’t bolted in very well.
Appreciate the input again. You should people enjoy seeing others journey and build.
I have those bolts in my xpedition also and didn’t know what from. I guess the dealer never installed them. I’ll have to look.
I’ve been waiting for companies to release floor mats, but haven’t seen anything good so far.
I’ve been looking into drones, but it seems they don’t do good in the woods and that’s where I’m mostly need one.
What’s your thoughts on drones?
I bought the DJI mini 2 last year during prime days for like 200 bucks and it’s awesome. Super easy to fly and great pictures/ video and is very portable with how it folds up. The new mini 3 I believe has the follow me mode which would be awesome for videos, but may not work well in heavy woods. I’ve got a list of things I want to do with the xpedition but it has been a bit disappointing with the issues so I have held off on spending any more money towards it. I plan to throw 32s. A bumper light bar, and a plow on it if I decide to keep it. Really tough desicion considering it is very comfy and rides extremely smooth.
@@madrev21 I’m looking forward to what Kawasaki comes out with in January. I’m hopeful it’s expedition beater in every aspect.
I am very curious on the Kawasaki. Hopefully it’s not, because that will make things tougher and may cost me more money ha.
@@madrev21 heard that 😂
How wide is your stance with the 5+2 wheel? The link doesn't take me to the wheel. Maybe they sold out?
I’m between 67-68” now depending on where you measure on tire. Room to rim is about 67
What are the mounts you are using for your whips ?

Where did you get those whip mounts?

Do you prefer the Xpedition or the defender
I do because of how it handles in the woods. I don’t on the highway as it’s a louder cab. The xpedtion just handles so much better. To the point I don’t think you could make a defender for less than 8-10 thousand. Then you still wouldn’t have the hp and ride command etc
Did the larger tires help lower noise and RPM?
If it helped with noise it’s so little I wouldn’t use that as a reason to get them. Same way with rpm it’s very little. I got them for lift and ride.
@@americandream_89 Ok, I only ask cause I just watched a video by Dirt Dudes, they put 33" tires on his new Xpedition ADV machine and made it out to be a staggering difference. I have a feeling the ADV enclosed units are much louder.
@@icehog2367 the adv is louder from what people say personal haven’t tested one. Did they prove with a db meter?
@@americandream_89 No, just his personal perception based on having a conversation while driving with people in the cab before/after. Made it out to be a total game changer.
@@icehog2367 from what I’ve seen so far no one‘s figured out anything that’s a total game changer on the sound of these expedition from a cab noise standpoint. I think that you could add bigger tires do sounding deadening, material add floor mat, etc and still only go down 4 to 5 dB. Polaris just didn’t do a good job with the material between the cab and motor
