I thought Conan attempting to chug the champagne was pretty funny, but that's about it.
The whole hitting on Kate really took away the true reaction Conan could have playing a 30's cartoon inspired experience. So many of his bits are classic comedy and would think this game would be a joy for him.

Yeah... it's almost as if they're just using the game as a comedic vehicle for Conan to awkwardly hit on Kate Upton unsuccessfully, how odd.
If you want gameplay footage then there's plenty of TH-camrs who'll provide hours and hours worth... these videos are and always have been glorified plugs for the game and an excuse for Conan to be silly.

I just watched all the episodes for the first time in the last two days and a lot of them with some celebrities were fantastic and ppl on the comment section loved the guests too, I think it has more to do with which celebrity they pick.

There is a better chemistry and dynamic with Aaron and Conan because they contrast each other so much. Aaron is knowledgeable about the games and brings that aspect to the segment. It also gives Conan a punching bag which can be quite hilarious. Make Clueless Gamer Great Again! Bring back Aaron!

This is not why clueless gamer got popular. I miss the good old days when it was just Conan and Blake playing games, instead of having these celebrity guests that are either not funny at all or it just comes out as forced comedy. The comedy came from the interaction of a gaming nerd that was really into the game they were playing and a really funny guy that could not give less of a crap about the game. hopefully, they will go back to that formula.

The producers work for Conan as it's his production company (Conaco) that runs the show. While the series was funnier when it was just Aaron and Conan, the segment probably makes more money with celebrities. So for that reason it's doubtful they will go back to the original format.

Rather than celebrities, if he's tired of Aaron, he should bring on other staff members that the audience loves on Clueless Gamer. It's always hilarious when he talks with his staff lol

Sorry @TeamCoco, this segment just doesn't have the heart it used to. Its just seems overly scripted, making Conan a complete creep for 5 minutes just isn't entertaining. There was barely any talk of the game for the entire segment. I am really disappointed this used to be such a fun bit to watch. Side note: do agree with a lot of the other commentors Aaron is really great!

Like many folks here, I would love to see you go back to the Conan & Aaron formula for this series. Conan's reactions, his jokes, his attempts to play these games are what drew us to this great series in the first place.

This kind of improv thing they're doing doesn't really work like this. Either both have to be good at it, Conan is but Kate isn't, or the one that isn't good has to be kind of a stand-in for the audience for it to work. If she was doing this blind and they recorded her honest reactions, at most gave her the hint to play along but nothing about how she should react or what's happening, the bit would have been 100 times funnier.

Same here mate agree absolutely. Aaron is a gamer and what makes these great are him trying to keep Conan on track and the chemistry they have. This is the first one i couldn't finish and I even sat through the Super Bowl one (again). Shame too I really wanted to watch more gameplay since this game looks awesome, but I went back to Hitman GTAV etc. :)

I'm pretty sure these are done like the interviews. Certain key points are planned but the rest is looser improv. Someone always chimes in with how they're clever enough to know this is "scripted" but I'm pretty sure this would be way too much work to script entirely.

This was honestly so dissapointing. Conan has an appreciation for well made art, and there was so much passion put into Cuphead. But instead, the whole video is just him perving on Kate. It's such a missed opportunity for an overplayed joke.
And cuphead is so annoying it's a game that can have great reactions, Conan could've had a field day with it if he wasn't so preoccupied with the Kate Upton schtick

I don't know what cuphead is, I haven't played video games in a few years now, I certainly didn't click on the video to hear his opinion on it.
These videos are never meant to give a good look into the games they're playing. Have you even watched any of the past videos. If you watch these for honest previews, you must miss out on a lot of good games lol

This series is throwing something at the wall to see if it sticks. I'm happy Conan has the nuts to try out Internet age late night skits. Love the man, best late night show host. Sucks that his videos gets bad like/dislike ratio when it's better than nearly every video by any other late night channel
Most of his videos have decent like/dislike ratios. This is one of a few that has a lot of dislikes, and to be fair, it's one of the weaker episodes. People tend to not like episodes that are more about the celebrity guest than the game, and there was no focus on the game at all in this one. For me the series is funniest when it's about Conan (a non-gamer) attempting to play video games and his entertaining reactions and observations about them.
