Honestly I love what happened in the second half, we have found out what to do differently when facing adversity and still got the W. This 100% was a learning experience game but we still got the W.
100%...especially when it's still earlier in season and not later. Opportunities to learn will make this team a true contender. Of course, if Donashell is the DC, I would say they are cooked 😂
@@jamesbuchanan3102 for once I feel a sense of ease going in to week 5 against the Jets who just had a horrible week 4. We have learned our mistakes and I believe in Flo to capitalize off ours and all of jets mistakes as well. It will be a good game nonetheless
If we weren't up 28 someone in Coaching would have reminded Nailor its windy and ok to just let it go. If we weren't up by 21 they wouldn't force a pass to Jones, so he gets a TD. Discipline with a lead is the issue. Packers didn’t score in 3rd quarter, scored two TD on short field and one when the game was out of reach… I am not overly concerned with that. Stay focused and forget about the side missions. Love Flo. Skol
the biggest thing in that game was the muffed punt. because 28 zip instead of 28-7 at the half changed the complexion of the game. but the defense got it back together and pulled it out
Flo said it best, don’t take your foot off the gas the gas and ultimately the offense should’ve slowed down and sustain longer drives and give the defense more time to rest and also the game should finished 60-29
Best said. The offense also wasn't looking pretty that second half and we should have still gone for points in each drive. Eat clock and add to that point differential. No stupid plays that may injure key player. Its about playing smarter and making sure we are healthy by Feb.
I hope! I would think that working in a great environment and with great coaches would be wiser than going for the big bag of money from a crappie franchise!
This is the year to do it. There is no doubt Flores is gone after the year. If we want to make a deep run this is the year to do it. In my 27 years on earth I have never seen a Vikings team this dominate. Even if we lost the SB just to see them compete in the big game would mean the world to this fanbase.
@@ganggang6146 from what I’m seeing, he wants to win. Head coaching jobs will be there. He can easily move into a losing situation and also get fired. One man, can’t make an entire organization good. That’s not how it works. He is a man who definitely want a Super Bowl and what’s being built here is amazing
@@ganggang6146 think about his whole debacle with Tua earlier in the year, willing to bet that scares off teams because why would they want someone that’s gonna degrade their franchise guy?
All the guys have to do is be flexible like they were in the 4th quarter. A win is a win. And this crew…both offense and defense and special teams…they don’t really know how good they really are. It’s gonna be fun watching the game in London tomorrow morning. SKOL. 👁❤️🏈🤩☘️
Yes, the defense have to be alert the whole game, especially when it is a divisional opponent win the game first, but also when you got a big lead like that the more points you are ahead, The better it is for you with the high points in both games if it comes down to Tiebreaker with the teams with most points.
We need ivan pace back. He doesn't get gassed as easily. Hopefully turner is 100%as well. Hockenson should wait until after the bye to come back and put up 150 yards against the lions. Also i think they had to scheme for both quarter backs instead of just one. It was fun to see matt lefluer lose his $hits at the refs. Man he was frustrated 😂
As a baseball fan that MLF display actually impressed me. That was _textbook_ Baseball Manager Maneuvers. Packers are clearly reeling, so MLF goes out there and makes a big noisy spectacle to the point of getting penalized for it. It amps up the team because they sure don't want to look like their coach is putting in more effort and energy than they are, and they can see him putting in _for them,_ too. Not coincidental to me that the Packers after that "Unsportsmanlike Conduct" penalty looked like their hair had caught fire. That and the refs in that game RICHLY deserved it. When you run out of challenges and succeed on all of them, it's a bad zebra day.
Definitely agree, huge momentum shift shortly after. I'm not sure how they missed the out of bounds interception even on instant replay? Even the announcers were saying he was bobbling the ball as his knee was out of bounds. Oh well hopefully it's another good game when we play them again.
This is what differentiates the original Purple People Eaters from every Vikings defense since, theres no killer instinct anymore. Everyone is content sitting on leads and playing prevent defense which is OK if you're up 28 with 4 minutes left but not with 2 quarters left.
There’s a lot more to it than that. Coaches are better now, teams are better able to make in game adjustments because players are smarter, rules favor offenses more, and there’s more parity between teams. The team didn’t take their foot off the gas, the greasy grimy Green Bay packers just didn’t allow it. Like them or not (I don’t), they’re a good team.
Don’t start the Bye week early! We need intensity and focus to be dialed up even higher this week. Traveling over the pond throws everyone out of sync. Enjoy the trip/break AFTER you sell out your body and mind for this last win.
He’s a great coach very accountable humble and patient with the very jaded Minnesota press,,like shark’s waiting for it to go wrong like it’s the past every year lol
Personally i like the london games you see jerseys from all 32 teams players past and present. I think they randomly cheer because they just like football
The last quarter was a good wake up call for being cocky and getting complacent. And the team recognized this and thankfully they were able to pull the fat outta the fire. Shucks…it worked out. SKOL
U have to give the defense breaks tho can’t be zero to 100 all game that’s how mfs get hurt so you gotta keep a balance and make sure the offense keeps the lead
This man makes a lot of money doing what he does. He needs to do what I know he will which is to look at his calls and systems and change what needs to be changed. They got caught on some of the tempo stuff so how do you call the right defense with the wrong players for the call? Better figure that out because other teams are going to capitalize on it
Love flow, but he sounds a little shellshocked here. Keeps repeating himself. I think that fourth-quarter put the zap on his brain. I would’ve preferred if they just lined up and played man coverage. I’m sure he’s not happy having the worst pass defense in the league. It just shows how they can be shredded if they don’t have a big pass rush.
The difference between the GB game and Houston is our DEF played 4 quarters in the Texans game. We went in to some kind of "prevent" defense in the second half of the Packers game. All the intensity was gone.
Flores is a consummate professional as he must have said momentum a dozen times but he never threw Nailor under the bus as the muffed punt at the end of the 1st half was the play that single-handedly changed the momentum of the game handing the Packers 7 points and permitted the Packers to enter their locker room down 28-7 rather than 28-0, and it never would have been close at the end of the game! I’m sure the team won’t make the mistake of having an inexperienced player fielding punts in big games, and we will see Powell performing those duties!

“It’s hard to win in this league” is not an excuse for offenses being able to throw 10-15 yard passes at their leisure.
The problem in second half is that they got the ball alot, you dont give good offenses alot of chances to score.
