Hello again Jack , I got the Art Pepper book way back , in hard cover ; he and the book made it onto the cover of Time Magazine when it was published . Art was here in Australia for a few weeks not long after the book came out and my copy has a nice dedication from him as we spent so much time together . I know you love this music so much so I will suggest something by Alec Wilder , The History of American Popular Song . Hundreds of of songs fell into the hands of countless jazz musicians and Alec takes you deep into the composers and understanding the ideas . A very good read full of information . Thanks again for another good presentation .
