Love the luxury vibe of your channel. And by "luxury" I mean the slow-paced and tasteful presentation of a particular approach to life, an appreciation for the little details, the artistry.
The whole line is very streamlined sophisticated minimalistic, Another 13 is my favourite. I love it because it creates an aura, it isn’t attention demanding, but when you tune your attention to it, it’s always there. I’d like to get a bottle of Tokyo City exclusive Gaiac 10.
so would you say that another 13 is more nuanced? i have a bottle and i almost cant smell it on me. but like you said i get wiffs of my aura and its delightful
I was introduced to this company and scent by a woman next to me on the treadmill. I couldn’t help but ask her what it was I was smelling. It was absolutely amazing
I love Santal 33. It doesn’t scream off your skin, but actually blends in with your appearance and personality. Together with Bleu de Chanel Parfum, Acqua di Gio Profumo, Tom Ford Ombré Leather, Roja Parfums Elysium Pour Homme Parfum Cologne, MFK Oud Extrait, Nishane Hacivat, Byredo Bal d’Afrique and especially Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 and Molecule 02 it just does it for me. Worth every single penny.
I have three 100 ml bottles: santal 33, the noir 29 and gaiac 10. I wear them to work everyday. the noir 29 is more an evening fragrance. I just love all of them. I want to live in a world where everything smells like noir 29
they sell expensive af diffusers that pump it through the stores and it fills the room! smells amazing. they pump sandal 26 i believe tho which is similar but the room spray version oil
Ever since trying Le Labo, I'm just not really happy with any other fragrance line. They are so unique and I love the refill program. The only fragrance I don't care for, so far, is Lys. My favorites are Noir, Matcha and Rose. :)
FINALLY, a reviewer that does not talk about note breakdown... I HATE IT WHEN SOMEBODY BREAKS DOWN NOTES, i want the scent as it is as a whole... it turns me off whenever i hear someone say words like "typical blue frag, effervescent, etc etc etc arghhhhhhhh i hate it
Dude, you got the Le Labo trifecta. Santal is my go-to as well; Noir is absolutely intoxicating; and, strangely, I can't smell Another 13 on myself but love it on others. Great taste, man.
Hi Mark. I too have a small Le Labo collection and started wearing it in 2006. I picked a bottle of Rose 31 when I was over in New York on a whim and it was my signature scent for a long time. I also have Santal 33 and I'm in two minds to try Another 13. Have you tried any of their city exclusives? Great review btw.
Rose 31 is the one I've been eyeing recently as well... it's probably their 3rd most popular scent but it felt a bit feminine, but I'll give it another shot! I have not tried any of their city exclusives, but it's probably best that way for my wallet.
I'm new to Le Labo fragrances and I'm hooked! Today, I got the Santal 33 in 15mL spray bottle for the price of $131AUD at Mecca's store. Too bad the salesperson didn't give me any samples from their range. How cheap ! I really love the packaging and I have yet to open it up. You didn't mentioned anything about how you apply the fragrance. Do you spray it once on your clothes or on your palm? While the bottle for the 50mL and the 100mL bottle look nice, I really cannot justify the huge price tag. It's almost summer-time in Australia, which means, the hot sunlight will discolour the fragrance very quickly. Oh, have you tried out Rose 31? I sprayed the sample bottle of it on a piece of paper, and when I got home, I have also fallen in love with that scent too. It's almost like Santal 33, but a bit heavier. I hope Diptyque candles is on your favourite list of things, because the Tuberose Diptyque candle is super strong and nice and I haven't even lite the candle up.
I have tried Rose 31... I gotta say, just like you, I'm hooked on Le Labo. It's dangerous and expensive. And Diptyque candles review will definitely be coming your way. Baies is amazing.
Le labo is one of my favorite houses in the fragrance world, just bought The' Noir 29 100ml and Another 13 100ml......I hate that each bottle was $300 😫 But I had to have it and it just made more sense to get the 100ml.....next of my list Rose 31
I have those same three as well. I started with Another 13 and wore it for a couple of years, then I branched out to try others. At first, I wasn’t sure I loved Santal 33...but after trying it out for a week or so, I’m in love! The’ Noir 29 is my fragrance for winter nights, although I wear it during the day some in winter as well. It’s not limited to winter, of course, but on me I prefer it when it’s cold out and I want to feel cozy, but sophisticated. All three are gorgeous! I’m so glad I found Le Labo. I have a discovery kit coming from Byredo, but honestly I’m not expecting it to be as long lasting and not sure if I can pay that much for something that doesn’t last. Would love to know your thought if you’ve tried any of the Byredo fragrances.
I have a few questions. The small noir 29, you got it as it a sample? I do not really get to see 0.33oz. they customized for you or it is a decant or vial?
Good question - no this is not customized, but seems to be a variety they sell. It works in tandem with the all-metal casing. Not sure if maybe it's US only, but it is readily available at places like Nordstrom
The santal 33 department store tip is invaluable ! I want desperately to know what the hot topic smell is so I can make my room smell like it for a season or 2
They also have a room spray in the Santal 26 as well. It's a little less strong than Santal 33 but if you really want your room to smell like Santal 33, then i'd suggest for you to go and invest in the room spray - which is also significantly cheaper than the actual cologne - and spray it in your rooms :)
le labo is a social experiment to see how much people will attribute quality and beauty to a fragrance just by seeing the price. not a single scent from theirs is unique, excelling at anything, game changing, and some (ambrette 9 for example) dont even last an hour? Is it the experience of getting these fragrances that makes it fun and worth it for you guys, or is it because you've seen so many tiktoks of people talking about le labo. Im definitely not bothered enough to hate on people who enjoy these fragrances, i dont necessarily hate most of them either. i dont think my taste in fragrance is better than anyone elses either. but i will say that you people are getting SCAMMED! None of le labo's fragrances have the artistry or complexity to warrant a 300 dollar price. maybe i just dont get it because i'm an anti minimalist person, but my favorite fragrances tend to be very simple so i dont know... Anyways have a nice day if you gaf
Just don't BUY it in SINGAPORE - their store there tried to sneak a PRE-MIXED bottle, when asked they said "VOLUME & BUSY" - I said not for this price point sooooooooo disengenous. Complaint to the Main store in NYC and they sent me a bottle replacement in a DAY. Must be SINGAPORE which is pretty disgusting for shopping with horrid horrid experiences....just so idiotic & RUDE.
Ofc it’s overpriced it’s niche brand luxury products it’s supposed to be overpriced so people that are rich can waste they money on it and so people that are poor can’t buy It probably cost them a dime to make and the up charge it by 99.99% but to me it’s still worth my coin because I enjoy their scents and quality but for sure it’s not worth it’s actual price

The Noir 29 in my absolute favorite scent, and I love how it’s such a unique and distinct scent that anyone can wear! Great review and nice shots!
That one is beautiful. It has a tobacco note that reminds me of my grampa
@@cuchanudon’t ever say that cuz it’s make me wanna throw mines away I hate when people say it smells like grandma or grandpa 😭
Another 13 is just on another level. So simple so good.
I love Santal 33. It doesn’t scream off your skin, but actually blends in with your appearance and personality. You have a problem
@@megaman2016 I sell perfumes myself. At least thirty percent profit margin per transaction. My personal collection is therefore entirely free.
I love your Le Labo collection. Another 13 is my first Le Labo, and I think I’m going to get Santal 33 too!
The Noir 29 has such a distinct smell. I’ve gone back to it after having difficulty finding my go to scent from Byredo called Le Gant.
Great review!
Haven't tried Le Gant, but used to own two Byredo fragrances myself. Totally agreed on noir 29
I have three 100 ml bottles: santal 33, the noir 29 and gaiac 10. I wear them to work everyday. the noir 29 is more an evening fragrance. I just love all of them. I want to live in a world where everything smells like noir 29
Amazing - never tried Gaiac, but can attest for the other two clearly.
I love that they focus on scent only ! I feel that the store some times is not too welcoming , people are kind of very distant
they sell expensive af diffusers that pump it through the stores and it fills the room! smells amazing. they pump sandal 26 i believe tho which is similar but the room spray version oil

Bergamote is the one I'm eyeing
@@MarkKwak I really want to try that one, next! That one seems as if it would smell amazing. :)
I think it must be one of their candles in the stores! Great review, my favourite out of all I looked at on this perfume 👍

u too rich for me. pass.
Rose 31 is so 😍😍😍 go get it girl 🥰
Rose 31 is so good. It comes off very spicy but the dry down is SO good. Did you ever get it?
And what about me that my salary is €500 and i just got another 13 3.4 fl. Oz
Expensive... yes. Worth it? Ab. So. Freaking. Lutely!! Santal 33 is my mood, my universe.
Le Labo Rose 31 is awesome too...
Possibly my next Le Labo purchase...
My go to #1 fragrance! Also, we keep the Santal 26 candles in our home. Nothing like Le Labo!
Can you review in each of them please?
I love the The Noir but I've only had the samples because I just can't cough up hundreds of dollars for perfume!!
Great video Mark!! Really enjoying your channel, what is the song in background music called?
Those are my top 3 of their fragrances too
I love your videos!
And I love this comment! :)
I just ordered some. Can't wait! What is the watch you are wearing?
Mark, do you only buy the 1.7 oz size?

You’re not supposed to rub your cologne in after you spray.
Good call - old habit :)
myth... it does nothing
I get it...there are SO many great scents but Le Labo is hard to beat. Nothing GOOD is cheap
Great collection of videos!
Thanks Meilin!
Thank you excellent review.
Everything you're doing is the right way to go about experiencing the world of scent.
Because is can be very very addictive and thus expensive.
Oh definitely. The fragrance world can be dangerous - I'm trying my best not to dive in head first.
i'm starting to collect this parfum :)
Santal 33 issa no. Hard to describe but its too harsh weird scent not feeling it. Very nauseating to me
This is a very good review.
What size bottles of Le Labo do you buy Mark?!
Looks like 50 ML or 1.7Ozs for the bigger bottles
I love Another 13
How many ounces is that travel sample ?
Its my favourite as well perfect
I have a few questions. The small noir 29, you got it as it a sample? I do not really get to see 0.33oz. they customized for you or it is a decant or vial?
You can get the discovery size, they’re 0.05 oz and it’s around 6 dollar each!

Ask them. I worked at abercrombie and we literally did spray the clothing.

If you had to pick one for the rest of your life, santal 33 or another 13?
Santal 33!
you rubbed the fragrance !!!🤪
whoops. ;)
Two words: Poivre 23.
