심하게 말하면 생목 고음 같은느낌임
음정이 생각보다 부정확하고 강약조절이 안된다고 말하면 될 듯 시은이랑 더 비교되는 것도 있고 강강강으로 노래로 할 줄 밖에 모르는 것 같음 성량이 좋은 건 장점이고 아직 어리니 더 레슨 받으면 될 듯

They're just missing notes, the notes are effing hard af to sing live, that's why Ive is always using backtracks for them. This is what true vocals sound like when there are no backtracks or autotuning going on to pitch correct for singers missing notes.

High up really needs to higher a vocal catch please don’t attack me but they’ve said that they don’t have vocal coaches bc they want them to keep their uniqueness and I understand that bc they have beautiful voices and tones but they need more structure, but I still enjoyed their solo parts
We need to normalize being honest and admitting when something doesn’t sound as good as we’d like them too and acknowledging that you can still be supportive of the group. This was not a good cover considering how good they are normally. I think if we switched the members to a different duo that complement eachother better we’d have a different result. I still like these two and StayC and this cover does not change that I just simply did not like this particular cover and that’s ok❤

This reminds me of the girls that normally sang solo and then suddenly had to sing as a group and it would sound really off because none of them had learned the technique for how to blend voices nicely together. As a solo artist you can have a unique sound and belt as much you want(vibrato and the whole shabang) but as a group, if everyone were to sing everything their own way with their own tempo and volume it just sounds very crowded. It definitely doesn’t mean that Yoon or Sieun are bad singers, they just aren’t used to singing as a group/choir . It is a different type of singing that requires you to use your voice a little differently to get it to sound nice and cohesive.

They are individually great but their tones doesn't match each other, they have different range & the song choices made it worse, they should've chose a lower range to sing like Eleven

Pure live singing is always better than having a loud backtrack. What i like about STAYC is that they are always trying to give the best. Of course sometimes it's not perfect, but IMO this is still a good cover.

@@qiqi3028 constructive criticism implies that people actually have the knowledge to critic it in a way that would help them improve, and if you know anything about music it's pretty clear that most people don't know what they're talking about. There are definitely a lot of things that need to be improved, but most kpop stans don't know why the cover sounds bad, which is why constructive criticism should probably be left to their vocal coaches lol

Individually these girls are quite good singers, but it appears they have a hard time harmonizing with each other. Sieun is a little off key at times & her adlibs don’t always fit (LMLT “woah”). Yoon has a powerful voice & she needs to learn how to contain/retain it more.
Just love this segment where the great vocals covers all the current hit songs. Hope more vocalists from other groups perform in this segment.

I would love to hear a full Cupid Cover because I can see STAYC slaying that songs, Seeun's and Sumin voices suit it. I AM sounds, really hard to sing live for both IVE and many others lol. And I guess because the song itself so hard to tackle without filter and correction.

They're good individually but Yoon's voice clashes too much with Sieun's voice. Yoon naturally has a loud voice so she kinda needs to soften it up a bit.
did their management give the ok to post this?
i think they would've sound better if they sang in their own style (and use a different instrumental) instead of trying to copy the original

Me encantan las voces de Sieun y Yoon , son muy buenas cantantes pero en algunas partes sonaba desordenado, lo hacen bien en el grupo e individualmente pero les falta practicar para hacer dueto. A veces la voz de Yoon es demasiado fuerte y la voz de Sieun demasiado suave. Ellas van a mejorar ❤️🩹
