Dodge did it for the chargers and challengers. No excuse for the mustangs and the camaros to not have 100% led lights - especially since theyre redesigning their cars much more than dodge is yet dodge has all led lights - except inside
Hey great video but just a heads up Phastek Performance sells a All-in-One Kit for the reverse LED light now (Lethal has a video on them) the kit looks great and doesn't require any wiring!
Is it as bright as the diode dynamics kit though? I heard the bulbs in the phastek kit aren’t that bright. One guy even said he’s going with some other bulbs. See that’s already like paying twice.
@@STILLNIGHTPEARLI have had the diode dynamics bulbs forb10 days, they are very bright but dont work 70% of the time. They require load resisters too one on each side. Paid 100 for them too. Absolute cheap junk. Had regular 12 dollar led bulbs from sylvania in and they were very dull, dim, slightly brighter than oem but they worked perfect.
For furniture install videos you really should use a flashlight when working in any sort of dark color space no matter what the outside lighting is while filming because the GoPro doesn't pick up dark colors very well and it just looks black. So when you point and say "look at ___" we can't see it.
The side markets are already for sale! Its the Oracle Concept Side Markers, they costo like 170-220 depends on what kind of smoked or ghost paint do you want, i put them on my camaro and changed drastically the looks! Greetings from Mexico👍🏼
Not a huge fan of lighting up the license plate, and side markers with bright LED's. It really takes away from a stealth look, and turns you more into a giant driving traffic cone lol.
My understanding ob the reverse bulb, is that the switch leaks voltage. With the resistor in line, is there still a draw that is going to run the battery down?
I have a 2017 Impala Premiere and I installed some JDM 7440 reverse lights. After 9 days at the dealership, it was found out the LEDs were the cause of my battery dying 4x in the first 3 months of ownership. Do you think the resistors will solve my problem? It was found the BCM wasn't getting the shut down signal from the LEDs, and it was draining my battery over the course of 2-3 days. All times this happened was over a weekend. Thanks
Heard my first 2017 SS Camaro pass by me while in traffic and, holy crap, that stock exhaust is nasty! Sounded a bit raspy to me, but I haven't heard one real close up so I can't really give my full opinion on that, but Riley, you should definitely get rid of that damn suitcase muffler. Much better sound, and weight reduction broo, lmao.
Looking at this video made me realize when you said that the resistor gets hot perhaps thats how your car caught on fire because the high intensity of the lights
Can someone help one , what is the difference between HP11 301 Lumens , and XP80 520 Lumens ? is it any better , Im looking for the best one for my 6gen camaro.
Mo Lo I think the 520 just means it's brighter and will probably last longer. When I order leds there's usually 3 options and I go for the one in the middle it'll be good enough and last forever
www.phastekperformance.com/2016-2017-Camaro-Reverse-LED-p/phastek-camaro-6-prled6.htm This is plug and play. Buy the one on phastek that comes without the bulbs. This one I linked is always out of stock but its the same thing. No screwing into your body, no clips, just plug it in. Just buy yourself LEDs
It's the little things like this that make cars look unique, very cool.
Concepts I love it planning on doing this to my car for the longest now that he did it I feel like such a copy cat
which license plate lights did you go with
Good to see you mention lethal camaro! His videos are the go to for DIYs
Why do manufacturers always only partially make the light units LED.....like why don't they just make everything LED from the factory....
To make you feel bad for not getting a better package
@@simplybuilt_1708 Too get under your skin, and because they are being cost effective lmao.

Very informative. Thank you!
how do you stop the back up lights from glowing?

Sergio Moreira out of stock though 😟

Just ordered mine I got the brightest ones can’t wait
Nice upgrade, Riley.....looks a lot better!

BelowMinimums true DAT!
BelowMinimums it's always the same bs with his videos.
Will have to do this. It's cheaper than the kit on phastek and less wires

Are you going to hear that resister bouncing and vibrating against the metal back there?
Over the exhaust I don't think so lol. But that is a good observation\question.
Nope not at all! I went ahead and tightened the zip tie a bit more after filming that clip so it's pretty snug now.
Cool cool those little sounds get annoying when they pop up. Thanks for the reply.
Did you end up tapping your other tail light with the other resistor? Or do you still have one?
Can you just use a regular LED bulb that costs much less? Like the license plate ones?
The resistors get very hot even when I was just installing and seeing the difference. Is this normal? Should I zip tie the resistor?
Diode Dynamics sells the resistors in pairs. Is there any harm in using them both?
I’m in spring too!
I just got these in, but they are just plug and play. i wonder if I got the right ones.
So I ordered 7443 Xpr and they didn’t fit I thought they were plug in play ??!?

Yeah maybe if you have warrants, or no insurance.
Do you guys plan on coming to any Dallas car meets?
So is that resister required on every car? And is it a kit or sold separately?
How you made the reverse light come up w the keyfob lol ?
Did you paint your rims yourself? I got the same exact car but stock rims, I dont really want to platic dip it.
Upgrading those reverse lights to LED help a lot seeing the back up Camera at night
Looks very clean
UTSA? Y'all in San Antonio?
what about the front turn signals?
where did you get the crimps for the wires?
You ever find this out ?
I’m trying to figure out how that doesn’t just short circuit and go through the resistor without lighting up the light??
My understanding ob the reverse bulb, is that the switch leaks voltage. With the resistor in line, is there still a draw that is going to run the battery down?

You have carpet in your garage? On the other hand your car is awesome
Looks great
looks awesome!
Is it illegal to do this ? In Houston. I don't want to get pulled over
keanu Romeron naw man you'd get pulled over for shit like underglow or a loud ass exhaust or dark tint. This isn't illegal in any way
RICKY it shouldn't be illegal. I'm also in Texas. It's better to have brighter reverse lights for safety.
Wait..... you've been living in SA all along and the 1LE I see driving around is a high chance of being you? Damn, learn something new everyday.

Caught fire????
Tavo M when did his car get caught on fire?
Downside for newer car, you have to remove the rear bumper to pull tail lights and do this on a 19-24 MY cam.
I wonder if that resistor caused the fire lol
I plan on doing the bright white LEDs reverse lights

My eyes is blinded! I can't imagine how bright they are in person lol.
Lethal Camaro rules!! Go to guy for gen 6 need to know info 👍

"Grab...a ratchet 🔧 and undo these nuts"
It's been said your car is never really FBO unless you install LED reverse lights
DEEZ NUTS
Stock tail lights look better.
These bulbs SUC.
DEEEEEEZ NUUUUUUUUUTZ hahahahaha
Deez nuts
Now if you can just do a body mod so it doesn't look like a Camaro, you'd be set.
first pin mee!!!
