Cheers mate, yeah they are never really any higher than 3-4m off the ground and sometimes as low as 0.5m. Obviously when chicks are around they head higher into the Tawa trees.
@@MaddoxphotographyNZ All my roosts I've found them in have always been above 3-4m! I guess it really varies depending on the maturity of the forest. Anyways a top tip for next time i'm searching for these beautiful invisible birds in a more mature ngahere
