    This is the most accurate analysis of the Botswana elections situation, I have heard so far. The others have just been shallow and somehow self benefiting narratives or straight up lies. Thank you so much for this breakdown.

    Congratulations to Masisi for accepting defeat and transitioning power. BDP one of the oldest political parties in Africa. Fact if mined dimonds are no longer as popular and people like Khama who did not try to diversify the economy.

    Botswana, Zambia and malawi dont hv liberation parties bcz they never fight for freedom they were given their land.Thts why its easy to chop and change parties.Parties like Anc,swapo,zanupf and frelimo are not just political parties, to some its life so to remove them wth a pen and paper will be difficult.

    All these so called liberating movements have made life a living hell for their own people in the whole of Africa .We need the colonisers to come back and govern they understand democracy and the rule of law. The human rights violations under the so called liberators is deafening to say the least .
