I just picked this deck up and when I went through them like this and saw the EX Burst Zalera there was an audible "Yuck!" from the living room my girl thought I was listenin to Pusha T. The strength of that card is disgusting. And them full art holo Sephiroth's is just chef's kiss.
Well, any of the boss cards that are stated at the bottom of the card with “B” can’t, but any of the ones that have an opus number “1 through 14” can. Such as the Sephiroth, it can be used competitively. Great question!
@@danielmokobia106 to be honest, any deck you can find is good for beginners. The game is fairly easy to learn. There is a set coming out mid next year: store.na.square-enix-games.com/en_US/product/685769/final-fantasy-trading-card-game-anniversary-collection-set-2022-fftcg That set has a lot of good reprints and decks for you to use and get accustomed to the game. There is also a Final Fantasy X deck coming out in February I believe. I would search local game stores or google the product to find the cheapest sealed product. You can also net deck from TH-cam once you get the swing of things until you find your own rhythm. Hope all that helps.

If you can't use the boss cards in tournaments why do people buy this deck?
You can use the second deck cards in tournaments. The boss cards are used for testing, collecting, or just to have fun with.
