I just felt my whole childhood, the emotions I experienced from this piece was incredibly nostalgic- once it ended I felt as if something was missing... bravo! 💕

I first watched Howl’s Moving Castle as my first Studio Ghibli film I ever watched on Valentine’s Day. And I was so enchanted and compelled by the film. But I keep on coming back to the music and I don’t think of the movie but a different image. I imagine the music to be set like if scarecrow men and women waltzing in a harvest Viennese-by-the-moonlight kind of image, in a storybook, on Halloween night. The score by Joe Hisaishi truly places as my third favorite score and Howl’s Moving Castle as my honorable mention favorite. This is why I’m more relied on qualifiable music and classical is certainly the most qualified in my autistic brain, how the melody plays either sad or happy major or minor key, whatever it fits my autistic brain.
