girl i did the same thing, i took my dog for a ride and i was gonna run into the gas station for two minutes it was 50 outside and i left the car on for her, i took my keys in with me and my car locked and it turned off, i was freaking out, i called my mom crying she was at work she couldn't help me so i had to wave the firefighters down to have them open it, i got my dog thanked them and cried all the way home. I know your struggle

I had a similar situation once. The car I used to own locks automatically if you unlock it and don’t put the key in the ignition, so I was at this 24/7 supermarket near my house at like 3 in the morning, opened the passenger door to leave the bags and left the keys in the seat. It locked of course eventually a taxi driver who saw my struggle helped me with this trick that did work and I arrived home by 5am or something

story: it's still the middle of winter where i live. a few weeks ago, i'm with my friend (let's call her Isha) and her brother (let's call him Shawn). shawn's driving and his smart ass decides to drift. keep in mind, he doesn't have winter tires on his car, the road has inches of ice, and he hasn't had a license for that long. we lose control, hit a snowbank, shawn tries to reverse the car, it doesn't work, and we realize we're fucked. so isha and i get out of the car and push it while shawn tries to reverse but his wheels can't get any traction. we're at this for half an hour before another dude with a pickup pulls over. this guy has like, an entire house in the back of his truck. he pulls out THREE whole ass shovels, hands one to each of us and we get shovelling. the tires still can't get any traction. this other guy pulls over, he tries to help, doesn't work. the first guy pulls coffee out of his car and we take a break and it's been an hour now and we're still here. fINALLY, dude number 2 remembers that he has a chain in the back of his car. he ties it to dude number one's truck and after a little bit, the car is finally out of the snowbank but the back fender has popped off. it was wild.

I locked my keys in my car one time 2 months later after this video went up and after I got my license at 21 years old because nobody would take me to the dmv, anywho so I locked myself out of my car so I had to call a locksmith and pay him $65 dollars to unlock my car and I had to pay him cash and I didn’t have cash on me so I had to go inside the store I was already at and get cash back from the register and right after I paid him I called my mom to tell her what happened only for her to tell me my phone has roadside assistance! 🤦🏼 so the whole time I could’ve called roadside assistance and not pay 65 dollars to get my car unlocked because my moms phone plan which I’m on comes with roadside assistance! So yeah that’s my experience with that
