Ragnar Reach the Beach 2017 - Cutters

Team of 12 runners, 203 miles, 19 hours 13 minutes, average pace: 5:40. Beautiful relay race through New Hampshire starting at Bretton Woods all the way down to Hampton Beach.
Our goal was to average 5:45 pace and hopefully get the win. Starting at 3:30PM, we had 462 teams ahead of us. By 7:20AM the following day we had moved into the overall lead, passing teams that had started over 12 hours earlier.

When I saw the thumbnail, I really thought this was some sort of adventure endurance race through the tropical rainforest somewhere. I guess that’s old growth deciduous forest for ya!
