Maximum Dose:
- Lidocaine:100lb X 2.0mg/lb = 200 mg
Articaine: 100lb X 3.2mg/lb = 320 mg
→ Choose lower MD LA solution: Lidocaine.
Used LA mg:
1 car (17ml) of 2% Lidocaine = 34mg
Maximum Dose Left :
200mg - 34mg = 166mg
Articaine 4%:
17mg X 4 = 68mg
of carpules of Articaine 4%:
166mg / 68mg = 2.44 carpules = 2.4 carp = 2 carpule
NOT 2.5 carpule
