Actually I figured out that anything oil based takes away the sticky residue I tried it with my manga of yugioh 5ds just now and it came off just use small potions though like a drop at a time. The only draw back is the slight grease feely but at least I won't have bugs crawling in my room xD.

I'm going to have to get peanut butter to try this. It prevented my 3DS screens from lighting up. Remove the card, turned on, works fine.
Oh and don't forget to wipe it clean with a napkin and then use a soft microfiber towel to remove the greasy feely.

Nope, just make sure to wipe away any left over oil and you'll be fine.
