When I play for example a g the e and a strings are very hard to play because my fingers like block out the song from them and i try to curl my fingers but its like not possible since the playing the e string. can you please help explain that for me ;)

I started playing guitar in the beginning of quarantine; with no lessons, and no intentions of sticking to it, this was the first song I learned and now a year and a half later I’m coming back to my roots lol. Since I’ve started playing acoustic guitar, I decided to also learn to play piano about six months ago, and a week ago I got a electric guitar! To my fellow beginners DONT GIVE UP!! I was never able to stick to a hobby due to my adhd until guitar. Now I play multiple instruments and learned that music is what makes me happy. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk 😌
This was the first song I learned a little less than a year ago when I started playing guitar for the first time. I remember when switching chords and just forming the chords were so hard. Just know it truly does get better. You don’t realize how far you’ve come until you go back to these vids after a while. Good luck everyone.
@@aces-hy7ed Unfortunately it’s just repetition😭 something I did to practice was take my fretting hand off the neck then putting it back on in the chord shape I’m focusing on and then take it off then back on over and over again. That’s the best way I’ve found and that makes switching easier cause you get so comfortable with them.

Here's a tip for all y'all who are having a hard time switching between the G and C, I find it a bit easier if you use your pinky for the G chord and your third finger just kinda floats there, that way you can have your third finger hovering over the A string for when it's time to change to the C chord. Hope this helps, have a good day (:
i actually got it in the first 2 weeks and trust me i am a beginner as well. Hardest past for me was to change from A minor to g however G wasnt really new to me (i have played it before on other songs i have tried). Only thing i can say is,there is no need to strum, learn the chords until it becomes a muscle memory while doing a little bit of strumming in between. Also dont burn yourself trying to learn it asap,in like a day or two. I have taken breaks even for some days and when i tried it again i was so much better. For example today i did it perfectly with a great speed without stucking and tbh i was shocked. So yeah, just chill and play
That was my problem at first too! But I practiced by doing the entire song with one strum down until I had the hang of the chord switching. It seems stupid and repetitive but it's so worth it
I've had my guitar for over a year. I'm 41 now & I find it so hard to change from one chord to another.. I want to start too but I'm not sure to have the motivation, I can't help you because I'm like you
i started yesterday and it’s pretty hard but I already learnt somethings and its fun to do. So I recommend this even though you may not be motivated, just try it out! :)

Amazing bro every time i thought to myself "man I'm recalling struggling with this part" you gave a tip in your video on how to fix it. With in 20 minutes I've got the chords down at a slow speed. I've tried countless tutorials and they don't ever seem to help but this was just amazing!!!! THANK YOU!!!
it took me 3 days to learn the chords, but it s worth it
Keep going guys! I've never touch a guitar before and last week I couldn't reach the c, now I can, maybe next week I'll get the strumming pattern as well and so will you!
I'm trying to learn this song cause I want to sing it and play it for a girl I like she made my dreams so I want to put effort into this
How'd it go bro?
I want to know
I know it’s been a year but I’m curious everything go good? ♥️ best wishes

Hey! I just got my acoustic guitar, aka i'm a beginner, but you made it look so easy here that you got all my hopes on max level..nicely done, man!
Just started learning cords and I'm hoping this helps! When I saw the thumbnail I got super excited that there wasn't a capo (which I didn't now the name of until now)
Me: *sees thumbnail* yes, there's no thingy! I hate the thingy!
Ahahah it's just because I don't have one
😁👍
absolutely love this lesson! so useful and its so clear that you are very experienced as the little tips and tricks are suuper useful, haven't heard the thumb one before! And just the overall teaching style is lovely. love it!!!! thanksss
Thanks
7:30 putting that in here for myself lol
In 2023, just started learning and you're amazing. Thank you for the help.
Good luck 😀👍🎸
I really love you sir you i played this on my music test they gave me 9/10
🙌
Literally months of practicing and I finally got it
my hands are rather small and it doesn’t matter how i position them, i can’t physically make a C without it moving and hurting my fingers
It’s all in your mind. Practice makes perfect.
No pain no gain my g
I never know how to subdue the too high or low note notes until now, many thanks!!
I’ve got everything down, the only thing I’m having trouble with is actually singing with it. I mess up the timing every time I try to sing with it.
Keep going with it 🤙🎸

can you teach us can't help falling in love by elvis presley?
such a cool song and a great step by step
I'm going to update this comment with my progress.
Day 1: I can do the chords but they don't sound like the song. I'm still trying but they really don't sound like. Advices?
Maybe your guitar isn't tuned correctly. Idk I'm a beginner too 😭
Or maybe your putting to much or not enough pressure
I see that there’s a lot of you guys in the comment section that are struggling but keep it mind that every guitar player started as a beginner (so did I)! Keep it going! You got it! 🤜🤛
this is driving me crazy. every song i play just doesn’t sound the same as any videos. i have my guitar standard tuned so like what the heck
I actually learnt it so much faster because of your way of teaching !
You're so calm and explain everything in a great way for a total beginner, Thank You!!!
Thank you😁 Enjoy 🎸
After two days of practicing memorizing the chords, I can play half of it
The best way of teaching that I have seen. Thank you.
i went through so many different tutoriuls to get to u
How did I not find you before. Your videos are perfect for beginners, I've been learning only finger picking
