It looks like a brand new Mercedes Benz. Black was a very uncommon color in the 80s for any brand. Now almost every SUV sold today is black, white or silver. Stellar example!
My dad bought a used blue exterior/blue leather interior 1984 300SD in 1986. It became my daily driver during my senior year of high school and early college years. I was hoping to buy it from my dad after I graduated from college, but he traded it in for a 1998 Toyota 4Runner a few months before I graduated. I was bummed. I really loved that car! This is such a beautifully restored example! If I didn’t have kids in college… Whoever ends up purchasing her, I hope they really drive her and enjoy putting on hundreds of thousands of more miles on her odometer!
Father and son just flew in from California and their road tripping it back across the country. So yeah sounds like they're going to really enjoy driving it and putting on the miles!
@ that’s awesome! What a great opportunity to bond while driving a classic car across the country! I really appreciate the quality of work you do on all of your “finds” as well as the way you tell each of their stories. Maybe once I’m finished paying these college tuition bills😫, I can be a future customer of yours🤞🏽🙏🏽. Wishing you much prosperity in 2025! God bless!
Fantastic car. Another fantastic car from W&B. Black was usually used for official vehicles..."dignatories" and such...so it suits a W126. On a W123, not for me. Another owner going to be very happy, I'm sure.
Yeah I would love one of those SEC cars but the amount of work I have to do on them to get them into great condition is not worth it to me. Classic cars with gas engines are a real pain in the butt.

Yes black is a very nice color on this car.

There's not enough words to describe the work and attention to detail you've put into her she's absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you It was a lot of hard work but I'm very proud of the results.
Wow, sold already!
They go fast!
Great outcome. Astonishing. The only thing it’s missing: euro headlights. 😅
So glad you're enjoying the videos
