    It's a joy to see my family member after almost 20 years of obesity back to health and strength. Medical technology is advancing so quickly saved her. I get to watch her become a grandma in a few months. We know it's going to be fun

    Dr. A I am 3 wks post op sleeve surgery. I've been watching your videos and wanted to thank you. All your topics have answered so many of my questions. Before surgery I was a very uncompliant diabetic was up to 300 units of insulin a day and after surgery third week post off I'm taking 15 units of insulin a day and hopefully we'll get rid of that after I lose more weight. Thank you so much for the videos and all the information I really really appreciate it

    Dr. Álvarez, you're awesome! On Saturday 8/13/22 I will be ONE month post op. I'm on protein shakes and protein bars because I wasn't consuming enough protein and calories. I walk .30 minutes per day. But I would love to do a full body workout. Thanks for posting these tips.

    Wonderful advice Dr. Alvarez! I just had my sleeve done in San Antonio, TX 5 days ago. The office sure didn’t tell me a lot of this information. Another question, is it common practice for surgeons to take a picture of the portion of the stomach that was removed? I never saw mines and I’m wondering if the doctor removed as much as we’ve agreed on...

    • @Endobariatric
      @Endobariatric  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello!
      We take photos of the portion of stomach we remove to email to patients, but that already depends on the surgeon

    Dr A. I have a couple of questions what’s recommend after surgery when trying to work out? Only do cardio for a couple mouths or is it okay to only lift weights cause either way calories are lost right? Or lifting then like doing 30 mins of cardio together is okay? It’s confusing to me ya know
