This song playing during the finale broke my heart. What a beautiful juxtaposition from when it was played earlier in the season when showing the broken Lincoln memorial. June, you're a hero.
Absolutely agree. I’ve been trying to find this. I literally howled crying. Those poor innocent women giving their lives for strangers. Heart wrenching
When they were all freed....and this music, heartfelt and powerful. I wish June was there to see what she did for them and how they were free. Absolutely stunning piece of television magic ✨
As far I can remember it was first played while June was telling Luke about Nick and that Holly was born out of love. Both of their acting and the music suited so well, it broke my heart
season 4 ep 3...best episode ever ...poignant ,emotional, and full of content. Very very moving and I cried with my girl ,while embrace her, at the final scene.
The Handmaid's Tale Brasil definitely their fault, and it seems like Adam has been kept somewhat in the dark on them releasing his music. I hope they do what he wants with it, but I think that Lakeshore does things only from a short-term financial standpoint with this show’s music
When the little girl who was so lost and confused during the beginning of the operations finally see her father... I cried all my tears. I have so much hate for serena and fred
I cried even more seeing the hope and then heartbreak on Luke as he's looking for Hannah then seeing the empty doorway knowing she wasn't on the flight
Eh.. there are much more powerfully sad pieces made.. i wouldnt say that this is one of the best.. though it is pretty good and can bring that sort of emotion i can't say that its the best or the saddest.. Saying this as a violinist of 5 years..
I felt like I was loosing a piece of me watching this show but something inside me finally died when I seen the Lincoln memorial cut down like that but this music took that sadness too an even deeper place. It married what I was seeing and feeling perfectly. It was like I was actually looking at it myself and that to me, is the scariest thing I can imagine. Best show ever #THMT
I just finished the season and my god. Best one so far in my opinion - few kinks should have been ironed out but oh boy. Alma and Brianna will forever be in my heart.
This score was played during the endings of two of my favorite episodes from this show, Season 3 Episode 13 and Season 4 Episode 3. Both episodes made me cry at the end!
Keep eating the leftist propaganda. It’s no where close to this in the west, but if you want to see what a handmaid’s tale world really looks like go to Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, or another fundamentalist Muslim country. You’ll realize fast how good women have it in the west.
Mother, I think, wherever you may be, can you hear me? You wanted a women's culture. Well, now there is one. It isn't what you meant, but it exists. And here's what we do. We watch them. The men. We study them. We feed them. We please them. We can make them feel strong or weak. We know them that well. We know their worst nightmares. And, with a bit of practice, that's what we'll become. Nightmares. One day, when we're ready, we're coming for you. Just wait.
I found it!! After 4 seasons 😭 I finally found the song that plays in several episodes is all seasons that I've gotten stuck in my head and I love now ❤
Bravo! Adam Taylors soundtracks and original music pieces seem to be plucked from the heart of the screen. I am a soundtrack fan and yours, Mr. Adam Taylor are superb. I
Cuánto sentimiento tiene cada nota de esta bella melodía. Te toca el corazón. Adam Taylor, mi más sincera enhorabuena por la OST de "The Haindmaid's Tale".

This episode sucked. I mean it was good but it hurt.
I just watched it too.. I almost cried ❤️❤️

She did this. Your June, she did everything. ❤
This part.. it broke my heart 😢
Juliano Corrêa OMG SO MUCH !!!
I love the way Elisabeth Moss delivers her narration. She was so born for this role! The show is epic
Her acting is so chilling...when she put her head with the other handmaid after crossing the train tracks made my heart skip...so emotional
she really was incredible
What episode was this soundtrack used on??

This has to be my favorite song of the soundtrack, it's so hauntingly beautiful

This mf song hits me every time it plays, but when Luke played the tape, I felt that pain like it was my own.

Ugh why is this song not on Spotify? I had chills when they played it during this season! Thanks for uploading it.
Lakeshore Records fault
Omg saaame i need thisss
The Handmaid's Tale Brasil definitely their fault, and it seems like Adam has been kept somewhat in the dark on them releasing his music. I hope they do what he wants with it, but I think that Lakeshore does things only from a short-term financial standpoint with this show’s music
I agree. I keep looking for it.
The soundtracks from season two onwards don’t seem to be available anywhere either in the UK or on Apple, Amazon, etc..
This song and the Nature of Daylight are both incredible in this show.
It always brings me to tears

Adam's best. Very similar to this one, too.
Thank you Adam Taylor for creating beautiful music suited for the handmaids tale. Music that is dark, yet beautiful; goosebumps...
She is the best female character I saw in my entire life.

Finale 😍 blessed be the freedom
Once again, I find myself here from season 4.
Just wake up at 04:00 with this melody in my head, now listening and cry. I'm not sure when heard. Powerful score. Unbelievable.
Our world is getting closer and closer to The Handmaids tale. People need to wake up.
You're right. Thank God Democrats are losing Congress this November!
Unfortunately there are people who will have humanity repeating these atrocities for their own gain. And then there's Mayday.
Just the best piece from the entire show's soundtrack. It's almost too moving, so good.
What a gift of sound this is...
I want this to be played on my funeral.

Ruins of a memorial aka Rita gets to touch Canadian ground 😭
It also plays during Offred and Serena's argument near the ruins of Lincoln memorial but with slightly different tone.

When June reminisced on Brianna and Alma and they played this song I cried like a baby 😭😭😭😭😭
