Thank you, Sandy! If we received in dollar it would be amazing, but this prices for a brazilian is very high. Just for you to understand better, the minimum wage here is BRL 1,200, the same amount we spent. So if you pay rent, internet, water, gas, power and other expenses is almost impossible to live. 😢🌳🏡

The key to grocery shopping is to buy what you need, food prices are rising every week, In Brooklyn NY we would spend more for this grocery haul.

That's true, Sonia. It's the same here. Every month when we do our Grocery shopping we observe the rise in the prices. 🌳🏡

That was actually a very good price! I spend a lot more, as my family is bigger. I do look for healthier choices and I want to shop more at the main market to get more produce for my money. It is very expensive here in the city. I’m trying to eat less chicken. I don’t eat beef. For our biblical holy days we eat lamb or goat.

Hello my friend 😊 For us this price is a bit high, the minimum wage here in Brazil is BRL1200, which is what we spent. If a person has other expendes like rent, gas, etc they can afford to have a good nutrition here 😔 but if you convert to USD $ or EUR is seems not to be a lot of money.
We want to produce a variety of food here so as not to rely so much on groceries. We wish you the best luck for you 😊🏡🏡

@@OliveiraHomestead wow that real perspective! I appreciate you sharing! It’s interesting to see that in the US the struggle is the same just with more money and more bills. Outside of the US many people only see the more money but not the more bills and the struggle to get the money. Living semi off grid or completely is ideal! Nothing better than growing your own food and eating healthier. We moved to Panama, where I’m from. As a result the sacrifice was a huge decrease in pay which many people have chosen over being in the states suffering.

I have been enjoying your videos. The food was expensive considering the wages in your area. Constantly rising food prices is a global problem. Here I stick to mainly necessities and am trying to produce more and more to replace a lot of the grocery purchases.

Thank you, my friend. I'm glad you've been enjoying the videos 😊 Yes, it is a major problem, we also want to produce our own food here so that we can depend less and less from the city. 🙏🏾🙌🏾🌳🏡

Hey Laurie 😊 When we recorded this video the bananas were still green, but we have already eaten them by now 😁 Unfortunately, with all the activities we have we were not able to post all the videos, but I hope soon the videos will be more in real time 🙌🏾🌳🏡

I live in California and our groceries are expensive also. I think your meats are cheaper but your others are a little more than ours.

I don't like that they tamper with God's perfect creation. Proud of you for refusing this genetically modified stuff. Also, another amazing video. Enjoyed so much to see how is the life in Brazil.

@@OliveiraHomestead The sad thing is almost everything here in the US is Trans something. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) here allows this in our foods. Most other countries do not have to deal with it. All crooks, to destroy God's creation. Love your video's. God bless you both in your journey. Love from Georgia, USA.
