She's literally just as good a singer as Sia, which I also may think is an entire career that started as satire and went awry when people took it seriously as soul-touching music
So I'm probably wrong but it seamed like she tried to sing like Shakira to a song by sia and instead of using the inflections spaced out like Shakira does she just tried to essentially yodel her way through every word? And she did it on a song that is normally sung very cleanly with crisp and clean words. And she did all of this in a language that she doesn't quite understand or barely speaks....is that what I just watched?

That female judge showed so much grace. She's clearly horrified and probably knows it's going to be an Internet sensation for the bad but she can be proud that she was classy enough not to laugh AT her before an international audience.

In a time when Popular music is really uninspiring and unoriginal this is actually deeply refreshing. There’s something really special about this. Deeply emotional and a performance with great freedom. Very beautiful.
An extreme case of singing a song you love thinking you sound just like the real thing. Get her a vocal coach to find her range and style and I would love to hear her again to see the difference.
