Just two or three days ago, I started having real issues with someone I was going to go into business with. The guy's really smart, knows business; and this would have been super profitable for me and him; but I started getting red flags. I called him on it; and told him that I would need time to think about going into business with him now; because the energy was off. I texted him that I was doing this because I didn't want to make the same mistake I did with my last moving job; where I HAD to leave suddenly; and left them in a lurch. I never want to do that again. And I told him that I had become super sensitive when it came to initiating really heavy karmic cycles again. I came into work; and from his attitude, he took NO responsibility; even though I owned up to my own part... he condescendingly told me that I might need to work out my own trauma, that maybe I should think about other people... all the while smirking at me. I called him on how he was being super insincere; and that his trouble with me outside of the work place shouldn't be causing issues at our work place. When I tried to explain my text to him; he said something like, "Oh yeah, I didn't really read it...". And then when I got in my car, I saw that he had texted me, "Stop Harassing Me". Earlier, I warned him that what he was continuing to do; and his arrogant tone and his insincerity and his making things personal by insulting me were about to cause irreversible damage to our new friendship. He continued egging me on; even though he had a delivery; and I had finally just asked him to leave. I got heated. Got kind of close to him; and he threatened me non-chalantly with not wanting to have to file a claim against me. So, I told him... "You got me riled. You've had your fun. You got what you wanted" or something like that; and then told him, "But tomorrow I'll come in more composed and won't be affected by this. We're DONE!" Seeing that short text saying, "Please stop harassing me." I got several flashes of intuition all at once. He hadn't even bothered to try to repair things before we talked. He was like this with other people... something that had thrown up a red flag to me more than once. And he was acting like he wasn't even trying... acting like a victim; and that threat about making a claim... I suddenly sensed that his short text to me could be used as evidence that I was bothering him; so I simply sent one more, saying, "Ok". Like I said, working with him would have made my life infinitely easier financially; put me on the fast track to achieving a ton of my goals that I've been struggling towards for over a decade; but it wasn't worth it to me. I'm kind of glad that this happened so early; because it saved us BOTH a ton of headache and heartache, and any financial entanglements. It was messy; but it was short-lived. I'm making plans of pivoting to another kind of delivery job; and learning while making money at this one; and then slowly transitioning over. I've learned a lot of what I needed to know in this one; so I can take that knowledge with me to this other one. The other thing it has done has made me much more discerning and much more confident in my own instincts and intuition; because this guy came off real nice and even gave me stuff in the beginning; but I sensed this arrogance and this coldness right off the bat. I thought he was real easy going; but now I realize that this is how he copes, how he handles situations that are uncomfortable. Personally, if I'm pushed past my boundaries, I make it VERY clear that it will stop. I get angry and frustrated; but it is short-lived. I think this guy masks over his feelings and may not even know he has them; or that he's manipulating people this way. I told a guy working there, that I had issues with this guy; so if he was sensing some weirdness, it was probably because of that; and when he asked me exactly what it was... I told him that it wasn't for me to say. Just that this guy was probably a good guy; but the energy BETWEEN us just wasn't right. I didn't try to make him out to be a bad guy, especially since the other guy was working with him and that would be awkward; but wanted to make sure that he was aware that certain dynamics were at play and he wasn't the cause. I spend a great deal of time questioning my own motives; and wondering if I'm in the white, black or grey areas. This is important to me. To be authentic, to protect my energy; but not hurt others in the process if I can help it. I tried to treat this guy with respect; and even came to his defense even after all this stuff he through my way; because I don't want to be the person who holds grudges. I just want to be fair, cut off bad energy if the relationship appears to be unsalvageable, and move on to bigger and better things. I read his texts; even though I knew it would probably piss me off; because I was searching for any signs of what I might have done to antagonize him; besides pulling out of the business we hadn't even started yet. The only thing I can think of.. is that he shared that his situation might go from bad to worse financially; and my timing would seem very poor. But I know from all he's told me that he can easily bounce back and I even offered to pay him back for whatever damage that caused. He ran ads on Craigslist; and it cost him some money; but he can easily delete them; and if it was money he was worried about... I could give that back to him. I've vented. Feels good. Needed to get that out to the Universe to people who don't personally know me. I'm not going to say this guy's name; because I'm not looking to make him look bad; to ruin his reputation; I just needed to vent, and to get my head straight about my perception of things. Just two or three days ago, I started having real issues with someone I was going to go into business with. The guy's really smart, knows business; and this would have been super profitable for me and him; but I started getting red flags. I called him on it; and told him that I would need time to think about going into business with him now; because the energy was off. I texted him that I was doing this because I didn't want to make the same mistake I did with my last moving job; where I HAD to leave suddenly; and left them in a lurch.
I never want to do that again. And I told him that I had become super sensitive when it came to initiating really heavy karmic cycles again.
I came into work; and from his attitude, he took NO responsibility; even though I owned up to my own part... he condescendingly told me that I might need to work out my own trauma, that maybe I should think about other people... all the while smirking at me.
I called him on how he was being super insincere; and that his trouble with me outside of the work place shouldn't be causing issues at our work place.
When I tried to explain my text to him; he said something like, "Oh yeah, I didn't really read it...". And then when I got in my car, I saw that he had texted me, "Stop Harassing Me". Earlier, I warned him that what he was continuing to do; and his arrogant tone and his insincerity and his making things personal by insulting me were about to cause irreversible damage to our new friendship. He continued egging me on; even though he had a delivery; and I had finally just asked him to leave. I got heated. Got kind of close to him; and he threatened me non-chalantly with not wanting to have to file a claim against me.
So, I told him... "You got me riled. You've had your fun. You got what you wanted" or something like that; and then told him, "But tomorrow I'll come in more composed and won't be affected by this. We're DONE!"
Seeing that short text saying, "Please stop harassing me." I got several flashes of intuition all at once. He hadn't even bothered to try to repair things before we talked. He was like this with other people... something that had thrown up a red flag to me more than once. And he was acting like he wasn't even trying... acting like a victim; and that threat about making a claim... I suddenly sensed that his short text to me could be used as evidence that I was bothering him; so I simply sent one more, saying, "Ok".
Like I said, working with him would have made my life infinitely easier financially; put me on the fast track to achieving a ton of my goals that I've been struggling towards for over a decade; but it wasn't worth it to me.
I'm kind of glad that this happened so early; because it saved us BOTH a ton of headache and heartache, and any financial entanglements. It was messy; but it was short-lived.
I'm making plans of pivoting to another kind of delivery job; and learning while making money at this one; and then slowly transitioning over. I've learned a lot of what I needed to know in this one; so I can take that knowledge with me to this other one.
The other thing it has done has made me much more discerning and much more confident in my own instincts and intuition; because this guy came off real nice and even gave me stuff in the beginning; but I sensed this arrogance and this coldness right off the bat. I thought he was real easy going; but now I realize that this is how he copes, how he handles situations that are uncomfortable. Personally, if I'm pushed past my boundaries, I make it VERY clear that it will stop. I get angry and frustrated; but it is short-lived. I think this guy masks over his feelings and may not even know he has them; or that he's manipulating people this way.
I told a guy working there, that I had issues with this guy; so if he was sensing some weirdness, it was probably because of that; and when he asked me exactly what it was... I told him that it wasn't for me to say. Just that this guy was probably a good guy; but the energy BETWEEN us just wasn't right. I didn't try to make him out to be a bad guy, especially since the other guy was working with him and that would be awkward; but wanted to make sure that he was aware that certain dynamics were at play and he wasn't the cause.
I spend a great deal of time questioning my own motives; and wondering if I'm in the white, black or grey areas. This is important to me. To be authentic, to protect my energy; but not hurt others in the process if I can help it.
I tried to treat this guy with respect; and even came to his defense even after all this stuff he through my way; because I don't want to be the person who holds grudges. I just want to be fair, cut off bad energy if the relationship appears to be unsalvageable, and move on to bigger and better things.
I read his texts; even though I knew it would probably piss me off; because I was searching for any signs of what I might have done to antagonize him; besides pulling out of the business we hadn't even started yet.
The only thing I can think of.. is that he shared that his situation might go from bad to worse financially; and my timing would seem very poor. But I know from all he's told me that he can easily bounce back and I even offered to pay him back for whatever damage that caused. He ran ads on Craigslist; and it cost him some money; but he can easily delete them; and if it was money he was worried about... I could give that back to him.
I've vented. Feels good. Needed to get that out to the Universe to people who don't personally know me. I'm not going to say this guy's name; because I'm not looking to make him look bad; to ruin his reputation; I just needed to vent, and to get my head straight about my perception of things.
I feel better. Perhaps this can help other people. Because these readings often have groups of people experiencing much of the same general things.
