I remember seeing his testimony the first time ever on TBN...tremendous! Now they're all up in heaven...I constantly can hardly wait til I get there...I'm only 65...but I'm envious of people who have been there and saw and have come back...and even people who have went home to be with the Lord Jesus!!! Wow🎉 😊
I got a hold of his book and wrote to him, telling him how his testimony so ministered to me, and he actually wrote me back a personal reply!

Dr. Eby's testimony was so memorable. I listen to him on TBN. I ordered his book/gave them away. Anyway, I am blessed tonight.

We know that Dr. Igbi has passed away and it could cause quite a controversy based on his statement that he won’t die again as what he was told. I think he may have misinterpreted that because I believe his story the Lord may have been saying he will not experience this second death again which he was experiencing does not die again
He was just a man...infallible...eat the meat and spit out the bones!

I don't understand his comment of saying that Jesus said He would return before Dr. Eby's ministry was finished? Does anyone understand that?
I don’t question this mans experience, however, all of these people are in fact dead? The Bible tells us that only the Father knows the exact moment of Jesus return. So????
I've read Dr. Richard Eby's book" Didn't you read my book" and while I believe in heavenly visitation and his experiences seemed to be very much biblically based however my only ? Is why Jesus supposedly told him that he would return in his lifetime(now he's dead). As a result, a cult started saying Jesus did come and has already been born on earth and lives in a fleshly body today. Was he deceived by a counterfeit Jesus? Which of his experiences were fake and which were real? Any thoughts?
Actually I'm not. Sure if they started a cult but a guy named Kevin Williams propagates the idea that Jesus has returned in the form of being reincarnated. I don't buy it.
Perhaps he means after the dead in Christ rise when Jesus comes back after the tribulation ? maybe idk
@@californianprepper8699 I still don't know either but I reckon the most important thing to remember is to be ready at all times for Christ's return. Also be careful to not put your eyes upon man more than you put your eyes upon God because the prophecies of men could ,potentially, fail. I do believe in modern day prophets and in the ability to speak prophetic things. As a matter of fact,I'm used in that way myself sometimes. But I also think that people go to extremes ,at times, like for example in the case of William Branham. He was a great general of the faith but some of "his followers"called "branhamites" became so obsessed with him and his teachings that they started a "cult like" church that believes he was the final prophet to the church. For the most part he was spot on in the visions, revelations and words of knowledge that he received but several things were later refuted. We must do our own studying of the Word of God and have our own personal convictions as a result. Let the Holy Spirit be our teacher and have the final say so in what we believe. Don't be unteachable because God uses people but ultimately we have to " work out our own salvation with fear and trembling".
God's timing is not ours. Don't look with unbelief or unfavor on Richard's testimony of his NDE. Be grateful that He has not returned yet, as many more need saved and He is allowing more time for the lost to be found! Prayer is one reason, God's faithful prayer warriors prayers rise up to Heaven for the salvation of souls, and God hears our prayers and out of His mercy and Grace is giving as much time as possible for the conversation of souls! No one knows when, only the Father! And when the time is right He will come! Be thankful for His mercy in waiting and be prepared!

But my question is : I don't know if you read his book called" Didn't you read my book?"(I did read it)but Dr. Eby , specifically, says that in one of his encounters w/Jesus, Jesus says" I'm coming back within your lifetime".Now, I don't believe Jesus lied so was this really Jesus talking to him or a counterfeit vision? Otherwise, I was believing the revelations he was receiving.
During the transfiguration even Jesus recognized Moses and Elijah.......first he said he had no memory of anyone then he said he remembered he was married on earth...to many discrepancies with this testimony and too many of his own speculations.

Question - if his experience was real then why did he state that he was told that Jesus would return before his death. Unfortunately this gentleman has now died - ? Did he misinterpret the 2nd experience
Yeah, I get that. Even though he said that I believe his testimony is legit. People make mistakes. Super anointed people even make mistakes just like that.
Jesus may have said “I am coming back soon” and he misinterpreted the urgency of Jesus’ statement to mean within his own lifetime perhaps. His own reason may have filled in those words that Jesus didn’t exactly say I don’t know.

@@madsheila4169 They were not, but I do not currently watch TBN. After Paul turned over the reigns to his son, it seemed that things began to change. They allowed God's generals of the past generation to get the word across. I recently had a dream that God had judged TBN, and they were a local station again and not a network. They had repented and were humbled before God. I did not see the restoration, but I did see the humility and the fruit of repentance. It was amazing to see. It was shocking to see how much was taken from them in the judgement, and how humble they were. I felt that God was going to restore them, but I did not see it.
Paul and Jan were awesome. They look a little funny but they are sweet people and obeyed God to put the Gospel into homes all over the world. TBN was a lifeline for me before we could get everything online.
