Pellegrini destroyed city towards the end selling our perfect players like dzeko, Milner, nastasic and jovetic pep could have had a very strong squad in his first season and he wouldn't have to struggle that much.

@Amir Zairin Aiyub Suarez was unstoppable in 2014 and was better than Yaya. Henderson could get it because he is the best holding midfielder in the prem and the best captain in the prem. You can say what you want about him but the fact remains that Liverpool lost there only games when Henderson was missing. He’s more important than you think and Liverpool struggle without him. Goals are assists aren’t everything.

What an away day this was. City fans singing non stop and on every goal limbs everywhere
City surely could use someone like Dzeko. This season, too many teams have been successful at stopping City playing from the middle. I can remember games against Norwich, Southampton, and a few others that City kept spamming the box with crosses, and there was no one tall enough to make the opponent pay.
There is no player like Dzeko
But unfortunately it would not fit Guardiola way. I wished Dzeko was back, he would surely bang in at least 15 goals a season...

True. That's why I think Alex Ferguson and Klopp will always be above Pep. Pep needs to sort out his mind, there are Several dimensions and dynamics in a football match and players. There are natural goalscorers, some box players and some who run from outside the box. It's why we have been lacking in so so many games. Pep didn't like Aguero but Aguero won him 2 titles with City. These days Zinchenko hardly plays due to criticising Pep in the final Champions league game. If we had a goal poacher in the Champions league game, we would have won. Liam Delap is a similar Dzeko player and I bet he would be sold.

What kind of question is that? After a dodgy start to the season, where City lost something like three away games, one to Cardiff, they were great for the rest of the season. This was actually Everton's best team since Moyes got them to the CL.
@sachin devprasad yeah I know right, who would have thought they’d go 44 games unbeaten, 18 straight wins and only dropping points in two games. Back to back UCL finals, a champions league, super cup and Club World Cup. Beating city, United, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal and winning every home match in the league in 19/20 so far. 19th title incoming too, so nice try.
@@puskasisagod1235 Would've been more surprised if they didn't win the league. Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham were facing struggles with appointing their managers for half the season. City's defense was in no shape to hold any title this year. United slipped up too many times this year yet played relatively well against "larger" teams. Leicester City was also too inconsistent. It says something when the "Best Team in the World" is defeated by Watford, they even kept a clean sheet. The league was handed to you on a silver platter, my friend. There was no challengers this year, not surprised y'all almost beat the games unbeaten record.
@Zvijezda Liverpool bought nobody but a sub keeper this summer. Arsenal bought record sign Pepe, United bought AWB and Maguire, Chelsea bought Pulsic, Tottenham bought Lo celso and ndombelle and City bought Rodri and Cancelo. City still had a massively strong team and it’s their own fault for not replacing Kompany. Liverpool have had massive injuries throughout the season including Alisson, Fabinho, Matip and smaller ones like Keita, Milner and Henderson. Liverpool’s first loss in 44 games came to watford, who have been improving insanely under Nigel Pearson who also managed to survive relegation years ago with Leicester. In la liga two seasons ago Levante ended Barcelona’s unbeaten run, these things happen in football, just because Liverpool lost to watford it doesn’t mean that they’re average and the league is bad, if anything it shows how much closer it is then other leagues. Bundesliga, liegue 1 and serie A are repetitive and boring. The league hasn’t been handed to Liverpool on a silver plater they’ve just been one of the best teams in English history.
