For the first time in a while, I can't fault Miller for this one, as he did his job and stuck with his man, I hope we continue to see more of that JT Miller and less of the not skating, temper tantrum throwing JT. Myers CAN"T be played in OT, he does not have the skill set for that, Tocchett, get a clue and keep Myers off the ice in OT. Play Juulson, Desharnais, Forbort, heaven forbit put Branstrom in the lineup like he deserves, anything else but Myers for 3 on 3, he's totally unsuited for that role. Myers can go on a 2nd or 3rd line 5 on 5, or on the PK, but NOT 3 on 3, EVER!
Yes wasn’t it Myers that threw that pass across that no one could have handled and sent the caps away the other way, jeez , keep him on the bench in O T please
@@griggbaylee5808 Yes, it was, and when I heard it was JT who was the lone man back, I was thinking, JT, just keep skating this time, and this time he did, he had his man and angled him off into the corner like he should, but then Myers and DeBrusk both went to Miller's man and left the other 2 guys all alone in front. I don't fully fault DeBrusk as he is a forward so I don't expect as good of defense from him, but Myers is SUPPOSED to be the responsible stay at home defenseman who covers his man. I think a lot of this though, is a symptom of the aging veteran being overplayed, because he has shown a tenancy to have these mental lapses and either chasing around after the puck, or standing still watching the game when he gets first line minutes, but when he gets 3rd or even 2nd line minutes, he's ok, and can even be good for stretches like in the playoffs when he was even fishing sure goals off the goal line for Silovs numerous times and not doing any Myers gaffs. Even in the regular season, he was playing like the Myers we got him to be, tough, stay at home guy who just keeps the front of the net clear and doesn't do anything fancy or foolish that would make you really notice him one way or the other.
He has his upsides and he has lots of downsides,he’s huge I really wish he could be a bit of an enforcer, other teams been roughing up the talent on the kunuckleheads for so many seasons, missing Gino from back in the day.
Canucks are sucking in OT lately.

I really hate Dubois man, the fact that he’s bullying Hughes, shoving him, drawing a penalty against him, and ultimately getting the goal in OT.
That makes my blood boil.
And I’m starting to think that overtime is a curse for the Canucks.

The caps were so bad in this game. Canucks really gave them trouble but they used their size, goaltending to force the ot and eventual win.

Seems like he's really happy and fitting in well with the team. Not having to carry anyone and not being hounded by asshat Canadian hockey press. Putting up decent numbers all the while playing a solid, two-way game. And in this game - scoring both goals and effortlessly bullying the Canucks 180lbs. Captain like he was some ultra-soft kid on a playground. So put all of that together and I'd say he'll be here a while.
