Looks amazing on you dear Jena!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Not over the moon with ALL CT foundations, but wanted to give this really a chance, purchased shades 5N and 6C, did not know, if to deep, it's for summer. But loved your video, the comparison with the other lighter one, Light Wonder as well, my stuff is still on the way so lets see next week, looking forward to it!!! And its not a 100 euro plus foundation like my forever nr. 1 foundation, the cushion from Chantecaille, so i want to look what this is, also because: no fragrance this time!!! The Light Wonder foundation, and what is the other, Magic foundation i liked, they are ok. That thick "flawless" stuff was a disaster: although prepping, i was a walking cake 2 years ago and my best friend (oily skin) was very happy with it!!! You look amazing, also love your eyelook, love the lashes, you can handle them so good with your beautiful brown eyes!!!! Gonna sleep here, hair care: brands mentioned here below i saw, nice to read!!!! I also still love Kevin Murphy and his cheaper Eleven line, which are also a bit softer. I do find this with CT foundations.. I am a '3' in lightness too and a neutral in any other brand I have tried, but the 3N also pulls very yellow on me so I have to go for 3C which is perfect for a neutral skin :)

I work in the Orthodontics. If you don’t drink/ eat anything colorful with your aligners on, they will not turn color. Also you can pick up denture cleaning tablets from any drugstore or Amazon and soak them in the solution once a day when you are lot wearing the them for 15-20 min. This helps. I had 2 Orthodontic treatments myself , one with aligners ans learned a lot of tricks :)

I started noticing a difference on my 10th or 11th tray. Out of 26
My son cleans his retainers with denture tablets (drop in a glass of water, dissolve and go) and he's never had any problems with staining.
I love the finish of this foundation but I honestly can't decide on which shade to get.
I purchase online, so I rely heavily on the brands description of the shades, plus the models pictures (if applicable).
The shade numbers and fairly large gaps inbetween shades are pretty confusing and the pictures don't help at all.
I watched Wayne Goss's review, he used shade no.2 (I think). Whatever shade it was, it looked completely different to the online version with the model showing the shade. In fact, the model used, had a totally different skin colour/undertone to Wayne!!!
I'll work it out with the help of an amazing subscriber called Marie - she's getting me several swatches. God bless her 🙏🏿

Thanks clare. Wayne's skin colour and undertone are completely different to that of the model used in the CT shade pictures!
I might have chosen the 5n had I used those brand pictures, the model looks as though she has the same skin colour/undertone as myself. Having seen Wayne use it though, I've changed my mind.

I haven’t seen if Tara Lynn did a review yet, I think I’m about 2 shades lighter than her in most foundation brands. Light Wonder will be hard to beat. That was so dry, and heavy on me. I am curious to try this new one, which I will today, when I go to Nordstrom. But, it sounds like this new one is for normal, combination skin, idk. I have my eye on the new Chanel one. It’s gorgeous here in S. Florida. 75 degrees, and sunny. I have my doors and windows open. They call this a cool-down here, lol. Our Canadian neighbors are back now for the winter, after being away for so long. Cold where you are 🥶

You're spot on about the sponge tip applicators. I have the highlighter and there's always plenty on the sponge tip. I think the packaging design is a bit messy and when you snap the cap back on more product will come out if you squeeze the tube at the same time. LOL.

I think the foundation looks beautiful on you, however the eyeshadow looked so patchy from the start. I’m surprised for a CT shadow.
My scalp is soooo angry!! I am in Alberta and also living with -40° weather lol I’ve been using AG hair control anti dandruff shampoo which has made a huuuge difference. I’d give that a go to help with scalp irritation. Love the look today!

Beautiful skin is awesome especially if you are over 40 just make sure you add a moisturizer. It still looks like beautiful and skin like after 10 hours on me

@@JenaFroese You may want to try 4N if you have the opportunity. It looks like the 3N is more yellow under toned than the 4N. You lean more neutral than I do, but we still wear similar shades and the 4N might work better for you. Or maybe your summer color? I wear 4 in the Light Wonder for reference. :)
Re: Invisalign. I’m afraid there is not much you can do to whiten trays that have been worn that long, other than Retainer Brite overnight. After two weeks, the roots of your teeth have moved properly and you don’t need to be as diligent about wearing them. It’s like wearing a retainer bc you’re just trying to keep them in place. I wore my trays only while sleeping and without attachments yet my teeth still moved effectively. They later came out with a Nighttime version of Invisalign which is the same thing that I did. ☺️ It just took a little longer but it’s not the end of the world if you leave them out once in a while. 🌸

Seborrheic or contact dermatitis for the scalp condition. I have eczema mainly on my face but my scalp is sensitive too and the dry winter air doesn’t help any. I tend to have the same issue with my scalp and/or hairline if I use heavily scented hair products or don’t completely rinse out any shampoo or conditioner. Also, I use the Neutrogena TGel or Selson Blue shampoo to calm the skin of the scalp down. It does work great but the TGel smells like moth balls 😝

@@JenaFroese Yes, thank you so much. You always do a wonderful job, and I love your personality. I picked my tube of this stuff up on Thursday and tried it yesterday. I have dry skin so I always prep, and use a hydrating primer. This truly wore beautifully on me and last 10+ hours. I think if you do the skin prep, you’ll love it even more! But that being said, I’ve never tried Light Wonder and now all the good points you made about it have me curious to try it.
You should look into getting a scalp facial treatment for your irritated scalp. I too suffer from dry/irritated scalp and I’m so glad I went. They use a camera to show the health of your scalp to determine the cause of the dryness, then they steam, exfoliate, detox, and nourish your scalp. I’ve noticed since I’ve been taking care of my scalp my hair has been thriving! Makes sense, the health of your hair starts with a healthy scalp.

I’m having the same scalp problem and I find the quai scalp scrub used every 2-3 weeks is helping me and I’m SUPER sensitive with all products and this doesn’t bother me.

You might have psoriasis on your scalp. Check with your doctor. There are scalp solutions you can treat it with. I thought for years I just had dandruff and tried everything!

The online matching said I’m 3N but you are usually darker than me in other foundations so I doubt I would really be 3N than.
I wear 4 fair in light wonder, but I can make a few shades work in both lines :)

Jena, I soaked my trays in Polident when they weren't in my mouth and that really helped to make a difference. Good luck with the rest of the trays. I'd be super upset with my Orthodontist and be sure to ask them to help you pay for a few things due to this inconvenience. I can't believe they would toss them considering the fact we spend thousands of dollars on these. Ugh. Thanks for the CT look. You looked great!

I use a hair/scalp oil the night before a morning wash and it really helps with the itchy dry scalp (I have super curly hair, so my hair type is definitely more dry, but this time of year is the worst!)

hi Jenna, fellow Canadian here! about the Invisalign... omg i hated the entire process with a passion. my estimated one-year completion time dragged into 2.5yrs due to so many lab mixups and errors. i remember actually bursting into tears one time after being told that the lab didn't have my new trays. honestly, i can't think of any way to make those trays clearer when wearing them for multiple weeks, despite all the brushing. just one piece of advice... do NOT eat any food with turmeric in it... it will make the trays fluorescent yellow. i recall my co-workers laughing their asses off each time i smiled... which made me laugh and smile even more.... (sigh).... good luck!

I'm wondering if the shades are comparable with the Light Wonder and the Beautiful skin. Are you in the same shade with both or are they different. I found the shade matcher on Charlottes site terrible. I got multiple different answers with a bunch of my foundations and was recommended 1 thru to 8N. I'm 4 in the Light Wonder.
If you are a 4 in Light Wonder you will probably be a 4 in this. In LW, I have to blend the 4 and 6 to get my best shade but in this foundation the 4N is perfect! I tried the 6N which was a darker peachy tone and the 5N which was more olive. The 4N to me is more neutral with a slight golden undertone. The shade matcher on Sephora was really accurate with all of my foundations they chose 4N for me.

I was waivering on this one just bc I do have an oily t zone and was nervous about the glow factor, but I'm wearing it for the first time today, it's been on for an hour or so, and it's gorgeous!!! Not too dewy/shiny (perfect luminosity level!) at all, good light medium coverage w one light layer, of and very smooth on the skin (sponge app), the 1N shade is pretty good shade match although I wouldn't be mad if it wasn't quite as yellow. We will see how it wears thru the day...
Hi Jena why have you started wearing lashes please dont be offended i don’t mean to be rude but i loved your eyes being natural, but thats only my opinion , sorry Jena its only me as i dont wear lashes , but its intresting your view on charlottes foundation i was looking at it wondering about buying it , but i had a really awful skin reaction to magic foundation and needed to remove it immediately my skin was very inflamed for a few days unfortunately and i have used her products form the beginning, but just might have been me as i was feeling unwell , but i wont try it again . my love liz xxx

@@JenaFroese hi i had worn it for a few months but i had bought her primer too , and popped that on too , then oh my gosh within minutes my skin erupted , so i just tossed both into the bin , i was so upset , i have never ever had a skin reaction before , so i took a antihistamine and it took a good twelve hours for my skin to just calm down , so i am more careful now , but with charlottes products i have had a few irritations more on skin care , which i have now stopped buying . and gone back to estee lauder complexion products ,and armani luminous silk foundation but i have just bought ,also bought the lift too to try

The foundation looks really nice, although I have dry skin so I'm not sure how it would suit if it needs a lot of prepping. I might stick to my usual NARS
The virtue exfoliating scalp scrub helps me a lot with flaky patches in the hair, and I don't find it to be as pepperminty as the scalp revival from Brigeo!
I love the look,but still waiting for the pinkgasm on CT site or Sephora site to come back in stock as it has been almost a year of trying! I would love to know how you got yours unless it was from the States then I will have to wait for Canada to get more in stock unless they are discontinuing it. It is now refillable. I feel is not as hydrating. I been using magic cream for almost 2 years.
I had a few trays that I had to wear for a couple of weeks and they definitely became discolored (even though I didn't eat in them and only drank water). You can buy a product called Retainer Brite to soak them in every couple of days, and that will help. If you can't find that particular product, you can also use denture soak. Good luck! BTW, I really enjoyed this review. I really love Light Wonder too, so I really hope she doesn't discontinue it!
What do you do with Harvey when it’s -40 outside? Just curious I’ve never been in anywhere near that cold!
My dentist recommended dish soap to wash the aligners. I haven't tried it myself but I have tried hand soap and it worked. My trays still get a bit yellow near the end of their cycle too, so its no magic trick.

My ortho gave me “ever smile white foam on the go cleaning and whitening”. I think it’s available on Amazon. You put it in the tray and then into your mouth. It will not only clean and whiten the trays but also the attachments on your teeth. Mine get yellow bc of all the coffee I drink. I only drink water with my trays in, nothing else.
