Sony Bravia TV: YouTube App Not Working, Frozen, Stuck on Buffering, Black Screen FIXED!!!

- I show you how to fix a Sony Bravia Smart TV that is having issues with the TH-cam app. Maybe its not working, frozen, black screen, stuck on buffering or loading screen, error messages, won't load or open, either way i give you five fixes to get you up and running. Let me know which step works for you. One more thing to note is this Sony Bravia KDL model does not have Android tv software. Hope this helps.

Man, thank you! The first step worked for me. That's after clearing the cache, removing and re-installing, and finally a factory reset the first time around with this.

I tried power a basic power cycling, but it didn't work. Completely disconnecting it from power and power cycling the modem totally worked! Thank you so much!!!

Mine keeps telling me there is a network problem. Yet everything with my remote from the cable company works fine. I can access You Tube through the remote the cable company has provided me but the one that came with the TV for some reason is not working. The power where I live is forever going out. This may have caused the issue. So I began trying the trouble shooting issues this man here prescribed and when I got to the 3rd one with unplugging the modem and the TV and bang we are back in business. Thanks so much. So nice to see that someone knows what they are doing. My TV is a 2017 model bought brand new. 49 inch Sony. Thanks so much. It was step no 3 that did the trick. That is why it kept telling me there was a network configuration problem. Wonderful. You're liked by me and I will highly recommend you to my friends if and when they have these issues.

Thank you very much for this video. I was on the phone with Sony support for about 30 mins and he could not figure out to make Bravia remote work with TH-cam TV. Remote would only work for a few functions. No + sign to record anywhere.Your first fix worked right away. So much for Sony Tech support. Thanks again.

Quick update: it play first video.
2nd video it was 2 hours long.. it play but I move forward.. and suddenly black frozen again... now I restart again

Holding power button on remote and ignoring restart option that popped up. I only let it go once Song screen came up.
My problem was the arrow buttons seemed to stop working. Your video helped me try the hold power button idea. Thumbs up!

Hi, I tried all that. I still can't get TH-cam to work as I am a premium member and yet I can watch youtube on my pc without any issues. Downloaded software and still nothing. It just won't allow me to sign in.
I'll join the many in thanking you for some straight up clear advice. Was having major problems not only with my TH-cam app (endless buffering-never loading) on my Sony Bravia 55" Android tv. Apps wouldn't load; or they'd appear with the image skipping and stuttering on the previews (confusingly, again with no sound) This went on for days as I tried a whole range of advice on-line/read forums/ and on TH-cam. The 1st step suggested worked a treat - problem solved!

Pleased to find this. Step 1 worked great. Also cured my Chromecast issues that would not work. That just had errors as well.

My Sony TV may not be a Bravia. I get You Tube but cannot figure out how to download the YouTUBE TV app, for which I'm a subscriber. Some people have told me it's impossible to get TH-cam TV streaming app on these older Sony's. PS. I already updated the Software following your instructions. Thanks man!

I just disconnected the supplied accessory camera with built-in mic.
This worked.
Earlier I had tried the options suggested in your video, but that did not solve the problem.
So, for my TV the accessory camera/mic was the problem here.

Spining red circle was the problem and was not able to connect with TH-cam. Held down the power button on Sony TV to enable a soft-start. Took about 2 minutes for it to reboot the system. TH-cam is now working. No losses in saved information in the TH-cam menus.
First trick actually fixed my tv even though it’s clearly a far more recent model than that one based off its layout. Haven’t been able to watch TH-cam on it for three days
