I loved 80's football, where midfielders had to be extremely tough, and Bernt Schuster was definitely that.

If we talk about scorers or strikers, I can see those qualities in players like Puskas, Eusebio, Kempes, Van Basten, Romario, Cristiano Ronaldo or Halaand, for instance, but not in Gerd Müller who, by the way, was a very good player, but not at the level of those mentioned. BUT If we talk about midfielders, I clearly see those qualities in Beckenbauer or Schuster (not in Matthaus), that’s why I believe they were the best football german players of the last sixty years.
